Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of work motivation on employee performance through organizational commitment. The sample in this study is the entire population of 50 employees at Business Line Jakarta PT Bank Mandiri. Analyzed using path analysis, with the help of statistical software SPSS version 22. Based on the results of the analysis showed that motivation has a direct influence on employee performance, organizational commitment directly influence employee performance, motivation has a direct influence on organizational commitment and work motivation affects the performance of employees through organizational commitment (with standardized coefficient) respectively 0.354, 0.396, 0.771 and 0.305). Therefore, as an organization that focuses on performance, the Business Line Jakarta PT Bank Mandiri must consider factors will cause the occurrence of consequences. One of them is the need for activities that contain elements of an achievement to stimulate employee initiatives, exemplary employee election every year the anniversary Business Line Jakarta PT Bank Mandiri criteria, capable of contributing both the highest and the target of achieving the best discipline for a year. So with these activities will directly improve employee initiatives. Keywords : work motivation, organizational commitment, employee performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui komitmen organisasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi yaitu 50 pegawai di Business Line Jakarta PT Bank Mandiri. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur atau path analysis, dengan bantuan perangkat lunak statistik SPSS versi 22.Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai, komitmen organisasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap komitmen organisasional dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh dengan kinerja pegawai melalui komitmen organisasional (dengan standardized coefficient) masing-masing 0,354, 0,396, 0,771 dan 0,305). Oleh karena itu, sebagai organisasi yang berfokus pada kinerja, Business Line Jakarta PT Bank Mandiri harus memperhatikan faktor penyebab akan timbulnya akibat. Salah satunya adalah perlu adanya kegiatan yang mengandung unsur prestasi guna merangsang inisiatif pegawai, pemilihan pegawai teladan setiap tahun dalam rangka ulang tahun Business Line Jakarta PT Bank Mandiri dengan kriteria, mampu memberikan kontribusi baik target pencapaian tertinggi dan disiplin terbaik selama setahun. Maka dengan kegiatan tersebut secara langsung akan meningkatkan inisiatif pegawai. Kata kunci : motivasi kerja, komitmen organisasional, kinerja pegawai
