Abstract

PT Berca Sportindo is a retail company engaged in sales and distribution sport product. Hence the existence of warehouse is crucial. Most of the expense in a typical warehouse is in labor; most of that is in time and distance order-picking; and most of that is in travel. Order picking has been long identified as the most labor-intensive and costly activity for almost every warehouse; the cost of order picking is estimated to be as 55% of the total warehouse operating expense. The problem picking order process in the warehouse PT. Berca Sportindo which is the impact on the late fulfillment order. it is expected that this research can solve the problem of order picking process which is aimed by comparing the optimal distance and time taken by S-shape routing method, Aisle by aisle, optimal, largest gap, and combined method in warehouse PT. Berca Sportindo. The results showed that the optimal method provides the shortest picking order route with 100% result of 30 picking order taken as sample with 6 minutes travel time per picking list. Therefore routing method suitable for PT. Berca Sportindo is optimal routing method. Keywords : Picking order, time and distance, routing method, warehouse intractive. PT Berca Sportindo adalah perusahaan retail yang bergerak di bidang penjualan dan pendistribusian produk olahraga. Sehingga keberadaan warehouse sangat penting. Sebagian besar biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk warehouse adalah pada pekerjaan manual, yang sebagian besar dihabiskan untuk order-picking, yang dihabiskan untuk waktu dan perjalanan pengambilan. Order-picking sudah lama diidentifikasi sebagai pekerjaan paling intensif dan paling membutuhkan biaya untuk hampir semua warehouse; biaya untuk order-picking diperkirakan sebanyak 55% dari total pengeluaran operasional warehouse. Dengan permasalahan proses order picking di gudang PT Berca Sportindo yang berdampak pada terlambatnya pemenuhan order, untuk itu diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memecahkan permasalahan proses order picking tersebut yang ditujukan dengan membandingkan jarak dan waktu optimal yang ditempuh oleh metode routing S- shape, Aisle by aisle, optimal, largest gap, dan metode combined di warehouse PT. Berca Sportindo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode optimal memberikan rute picking order terpendek dengan hasil 100% dari 30 order picking yang diambil sebagai sample dengan waktu tempuh 6 menit per picking list order. Dengan demikian metode routing yang sesuai untuk diterapkan di PT. Berca Sportindo adalah metode routing optimal. Kata kunci : Order picking, jarak dan waktu, metode routing, warehouse intractive.
