Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of competence, achievement motivation, and organizational climate to the employee's performance in the Compliance Directorate of Bank Danamon. The design study is descriptive manifold explanatory research with survey method. The data were taken using a questionnaire given to 212 respondents; the sampling technique used is sampling jenuh. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that the variables of competence, achievement motivation, and organizational climate positive and significant have impact together on employee performance. Competence influence performance with t- value is 4.32, achievement motivation variables effect for the performance with the t-value is 5.66, organizational climate does’nt have any effect for the performance of employees with t-value is 0.28, while simultaneously, the three variables endogenous competence, achievement motivation, and organizational climate have effect for the performance of employees with a contribution of R2 value is 0.47 (47%). In this study, the highest variable effect on employee performance is variable achievement motivation. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, motivasi berprestasi, dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Direktorat Kepatuhan Bank Danamon. Desain penelitian yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif berjenis riset eksplanatori dengan metode survei. Data diambil menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 212 orang responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel kompetensi, motivasi berprestasi, dan iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kompetensi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dengan t value sebesar 4,32, motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan t value sebesar 5,66 dan iklim organisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan t value sebesar 0,28, sedangkan secara simultan, ketiga variabel endogen kompetensi, motivasi berprestasi, dan iklim organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai kontribusi R2 sebesar 0,47 atau 47%. Dalam penelitian ini variabel yang paling tinggi pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah variable motivasi berprestasi. Kata kunci : kompetensi, motivasi berprestasi, iklim organisasi, dan kinerja karyawan.
