Abstract
Indonesian tourism is currently in the spotlight of the world. Therefore the government, especially the ministry of tourism intensively carries out development to support tourism in Indonesia. The diversity of tourist backgrounds is a factor that must be considered in relation to building design. Neutrality, locality and space experience are the main things raised in the design concepts of Hotel dan Resort buildings. Neutrality means not taking a certain bias, and locality indicates the existence of a building. The sequence between the spaces that the visitor goes through and the orientation of the view is an advantage that is expected to provide a real shock to each space movement. Keyword: Hotel dan Resort, Neo Vernacular, Architecture, West Java, Sequence. Pariwisata Indonesia saat ini sedang menjadi sorotan dunai. Oleh karena itu pemerintah khususnya Kementerian Pariwisata gencar melakukan pembangunan penunjang pariwisata di Indonesia. Keberagaman latar belakang wisatawan menjadi faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam kaitannya dengan rancangan bangunan. Netralitas, lokalitas dan pengalamam ruang menjadi hal utama yang diangkat pada konsep rancangan bangunan Hotel dan Resort. Netralitas berarti tidak memihak pada suatu kecondongan tertentu, dan lokalitas menunjukkan keberadaan sebuah bangunan. Permainan sequence antar ruang yang dilalui pengunjung serta orientasi view menjadi kelebihan yang diharapkan dapat memberikan kejutan rasa pada setiap pergerakan ruang. Kata Kunci: Hotel dan Resort, Neo Vernakular, Arsitektur, Jawa Barat, Sequence.
