Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze the efficiency of beef supply chain distribution at PT. Hajar Aswad Tani Indonesia (HATI) by applying interviews and documentation studies to strengthen data findings regarding distribution channel mapping and factors affecting distribution channels, using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data analysis in this study uses an alternative method of transportation model. With five calculation methods, namely the North West Corner method, the Stepping Stone method, the Least Cost Method, the VAM method (Vogell's Approximation Method) and the Modified Distribution (MODI) method. The results of this study stated that the North West Corner (NWC) method obtained a cost of Rp. 4,073,500. Other methods such as the Least Cost Method and Vogell's Approximation Method were found to be able to save shipping costs from the initial shipping cost of 3,965,000 to 3,663,300 and 3,513,900. However, the Stepping Stone and MODI methods were found to have the highest cost efficiency of Rp. 3,359,900,000. For this reason, companies are advised to use both methods. Keyword: Transportasi model, North West Corner, Least Cost Method, Vogell’s Approximation Method Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis efisiensi distribusi rantai pasok daging sapi di PT. Hajar Aswad Tani Indonesia (HATI) dengan menerapkan wawancara dan studi dokumentasi untuk memperkuat penemuan data mengenai pemetaan saluran distribusi dan faktor yang mempengaruhi saluran distribusi, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode alternatif dari Transportation model. Dengan lima metode perhitungan yaitu metode Sudut Barat Laut (North West Corner), metode (Stepping Stone), metode Biaya Terkecil (Least Cost Method), metode VAM (Vogell’s Approximation Method) serta metode Modified Distibution (MODI). Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa untuk metode North West Corner (NWC) mendapatkan hasil biaya sebesar Rp. 4.073.500. Pada metode lain seperti Least Cost Method dan Vogell’s Approximation Method ditemukan mampu menghemat biaya pengiriman dari biaya awal pengiriman sebesar 3.965.000 menjadi 3.663.300 dan 3.513.900. Namun metode Stepping Stone dan MODI ditemukan memiliki efisiensi biaya paling tinggi sebesar Rp. 3,359,900,000. Untuk itu perusahaan disarankan untuk menggunakan metode kedua metode tersebut.
