Abstract
Hotel Resort Bandung merupakan Hotel Bintang 3 yang menunjang sektor pariwisata kota Bandung, yang merupakan strategi pemerintah untuk mengembangkan perekonomian di sekitar Jawa Barat. Lokasi Hotel Resort terletak di Kelurahan Isola dan dikelilingi oleh daerah wisata pegunungan. Desain Hotel Resort menggunakan simbol Arsitektur Vernakuler khas Jawa Barat kemudian diadaptasi kedalam bentuk yang baru dengan memperhatikan standar fungsi dan kenyamanan sebuah Hotel Resort sebagai kebutuhan pariwisata berupa wisata alam. Konsep desain ini digunakan agar mampu meningkatkan potensi pariwisata kebudayaan tradisional masyarakat lokal dan tetap mengikuti perkembangan jaman tanpa meninggalkan nilai-nilai tradisional setempat yang tetap harus dipertahankan.
