Abstract
Transit Oriented Development (TOD) is an urban area development that adopts mixed spatial planning by maximizing mass transportation such as LRT trains, MRT trains, busways, which include pedestrian and bicycle networks. Currently the government is intensively developing TOD projects. With the aim of TOD to overcome the problems that exist in the capital, namely traffic jam Transit Oriented Development (TOD) functions as a directing and reducing the use of private vehicles in order to switch to mass transportation and pedestrians. The government must also arrange the urban structuring structure with a settlement approach that is integrated with mass transportation and mixed use buildings. So that the community becomes easier to reach the desired location and efficient time and space. Keywords: Transit Oriented Development (TOD), mass transportation, mixed use. Transit Oriented Development (TOD) adalah pengembangan kawasan kota yang mengadopsi tata ruang campuran dengan memaksimalkan tarnsportasi massal seperti kereta api LRT, kereta api MRT, busway, yang menyertakan jaringan pejalan kaki dan sepeda. Saat ini pemerintah gencar membangun proyek TOD. Dengan tujuan TOD dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang ada di ibukota yaitu macet Transit Oriented Development (TOD) berfungsi sebagai mengarahkan dan mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan pribadi agar beralih ke tranportasi massal dan pejalan kaki. Pemerintah juga harus menata struktur penataan kota dengan pendekatan pemukiman yang terintegrasi dengan transportasi massal dan bangunan mixed use. Sehingga masyarakat menjadi lebih mudah menjangkau lokasi yang diinginkan dan efisien waktu dan ruang. Kata Kunci: Transit Oriented Development (TOD), Transportasi massal, mixed used.
