Abstract
One of the diseases that increasingly common is cancer. Therefore, in addition to the construction of public hospitals, it is also necessary to have a special hospital/ specialist to deal with a specific and focused disease that is equipped with facilities supported by medical devices based on the latest technology and qualified experts so that they can handle patients quickly and precisely with the aim of minimizing mortality from cancer. The design of this hospital uses the theme of Green Architecture with the Healing Environment approach. Based on the theme and approach, Modern Natural concept is applied which is a concept in the design of buildings with structural, spatial and construction systems that can guarantee a comfortable condition for its users, especially patients, so that it has a good psychological impact and can help the healing process. The Modern Natural concept is applied to the shape of the building mass, the choice of colors and materials in the inner room, as well as the use of natural energy in the form of sunlight to minimize the use of lights in the main corridors of the hospital Keywords: Special Hospital, Cancer Hospital, Modern Natural Architecture, Green Architecture, Healing Environment Salah satu penyakit yang semakin hari semakin sering dijumpai adalah penyakit kanker. Oleh karena itu, selain pembangunan rumah sakit umum diperlukan juga adanya ketersediaan rumah sakit khusus/spesialis untuk menangani suatu penyakit secara lebih spesifik dan terfokus yang dilengkapi dengan fasilitas yang didukung dengan alat-alat medis berbasis teknologi mutakhir dan tenaga ahli yang berkualitas sehingga dapat menangani pasien secara cepat dan tepat dengan tujuan meminimalisir angka kematian akibat penyakit kanker. Pada perancangan rumah sakit ini menggunakan tema Green Architecture dengan pendekatan Healing Enviroment. Erdasarkan tema dan pendektan tersebut diterapkanlah konsep Modern Natural yang merupakan suatu konsep pada rancangan bangunan dengan sistem struktur, ruang dan konstruksi yang dapat menjamin adanya kondisi nyaman bagi penggunanya terutama pasien sehingga memberikan dampak psikologis yang baik dan dapat membantu proses penyembuhan. Konsep Modern Natural diterapkan pada bentuk massa bangunan, pemilihan warna dan material pada ruang dalam, juga pemanfaatan energi alami berupa cahaya matahari untuk meminimalisir penggunaan lampu pada koridor utama rumah sakit Kata kunci : Rumah Sakit Khusus, Rumah Sakit Kanker, Arsitekur Modern Natural, Green Architecture, Healing Environment
