Abstract

Kata Kunci : Daya, Konsumsi Energi, BTS, CAPEX, OPEX, RAN Currently, the wireless telecommunication network, absorbing 4% of the annual electrical energy consumption and is expected to grow substantially and will become an important issue in the coming years. In this paper, the electric power consumption in BTS (Base Transceiver Station) in a telecommunications company is a need in the form of energy consumption that must be managed carefully. Increased communication of data and voice communications decrease, causing a spectrum crisis. Cooperation BTS by Indosat and XL Axiata cooperation through the RAN (Radio Access Network) .merupakan form of increased coverage (overcoming the crisis spectrum) while saving CAPEX and OPEX budgets. These savings impact on the cost of electricity. If there are two operators, will save approximately 36.73% CAPEX and OPEX 44.71%. More and more operators are involved in the RAN Sharing, will further save cost budget. CAPEX and OPEX savings will encourage telecom companies to expand and network development. Further empowerment efficient spectrum will be achieved and accelerated development of Mobile Broadband in Indonesia. which means to contribute economic value of the country Keywords : Power, Energy Consumption, BTS, CAPEX, OPEX, RAN Sharing.
