Abstract
Mesin telah menjadi salah satu pendukung dari berbagai kegiatan dan pekerjaan, sehingga suatu mesin membutuhkan perhatian pada kondisinya. Cara paling mudah untuk memperhatikan suatu mesin adalah melalui suara mesin tersebut. Namun sebagian besar pemeriksaan suara mesin masih dilakukan dengan cara tradisional dan sering kali terjadi perbedaan pendapat mengenai kondisi mesin tersebut. Hal ini dikarenakan belum berkembangnya dasar ilmiah yang mendukung untuk mengetahui kondisi sebuah mesin dengan menggunakan suara mesin. Diperlukan suatu nilai yang berasal dari pola frekuensi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar ilmiah untuk menentukan kondisi mesin melalui suaranya. Metode envelope extraction dari transformasi hilbert, fast fourier transform, dan korelasi koefisien digunakan untuk mencari nilai tersebut. Pengujian nilai yang diperoleh memberikan hasil yang menjanjikan untuk menentukan kondisi mesin, namun belum mampu mengenali jenis kerusakan dengan memuaskan. Kata Kunci: suara mesin, pola frekuensi, nilai, trasformasi hilbert, envelope extraction, fast fourier transform, korelasi koefisien. Engine have become one of the supportive aset for many activity dan work, therefor engine need attention for the condition. The easiest way to do that is through the acoustic sound of the engine it self. Most of the time the sound of engine are checked using a traditional way that cousing a debate about the condition of the engine. This is due to no supportive scientific basis to know about engine condition using their acoustic sound. A value from its frequency pattern is needed as scientific basis to determine an engine condition using acoustic sound. Method of envelope extraction by hilbert transform, fast fourier trasnform, and correlation coefficient are used to find that value. A series of test have been performed for the value found and the result are promising for telling engine condition, but unfortunately the value found has not been able to identify type of damage that occur on the engine.
