Abstract
Robot is a mechanical device that can perform a physical task, using either human supervision and control, or using a program that has been defined beforehand. Robots typically consists of a set of inputs, processors microprocessor / microcontroller and set output. There are many robots have been invented by man, whether for education, scientific research or for robot contest. One of the famous robot today is Lego Mindstorms EV3. EV3 Mindstorms NXT Mindstorms line replaces the 2.0 that was launched in 2009. This EV3 Mindstorms robot is a robot that is more friendly and relatively easy to use without having to manipulate the circuit and install your own motor as its predecessor. One area in which the robot moves is interesting to study the behavior-based robot controller. It required a robot control system that is not based on a model known as Behavior Based Robot control system (BBR). In this study, there are some behaviors that are used in automobile applications robots Mindstorms EV3, such as obstacle avoidance, behavior and position fixing point behavior. Behavior with different objectives may conflict can not be resolved. The test results show if the design of robot-based behavior has been carried out and the application of behavior-based robot on robot Mindstorms EV3 has done so in mind that the robot Mindstorms EV3 worked well, and application-based robots on Mindstorms EV3 can work very well for being able to respond to any action on the environment his. Keywords: Behavior-Based Robot, Mindstorms EV3, mobile robots Robot merupakan sebuah alat mekanik yang dapat melakukan suatu tugas fisik, baik menggunakan pengawasan dan control manusia, ataupun menggunakan program yang telah didefinisikan terlebih dahulu. Robot biasanya terdiri dari satu set input, pemproses microprocessor/mikrokontroller dan set output. Ada banyak robot yang telah diciptakan manusia, baik untuk keperluan pendidikan, penelitian ilmiah atau untuk robot kontes. Salah satu robot yang terkenal saat ini adalah Lego mindstorms EV3. Mindstorms EV3 ini menggantikan jajaran mindstorms NXT 2.0 yang diluncurkan pada 2009. Robot Mindstorms EV3 ini merupakan robot yang lebih ramah dan relatif mudah untuk digunakan tanpa harus merekayasa sirkuit maupun memasang motor sendiri seperti generasi pendahulunya. Salah satu bidang dalam robot bergerak yang menarik untuk dikaji adalah pengendali robot berbasis perilaku. Untuk itu diperlukan system kendali robot yang tidak berbasis model yang dikenal dengan system kendali Behavior Based Robot (BBR). Pada penelitian ini terdapat beberapa behavior yang digunakan dalam aplikasi mobil robot Mindstorms EV3, diantaranya obstacle avoidance, point behavior dan position fixing behavior. Behavior dengan tujuan berbeda dapat menimbulkan konflik yang tidak dapat diselesaikan. Hasil pengujian menunjukan jika perancangan robot berbasis perilaku telah dilakukan dan penerapan behavior based robot pada robot mindstroms EV3 telah dilakukan sehingga diketahui bahwa robot mindstroms EV3 bekerja dengan baik, dan penerapan based robot pada mindstorms EV3 dapat bekerja dengan sangat baik karena mampu merespon setiap aksi terhadap lingkungan nya.
