Abstract
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) menurut Sugiyono (2010). Subyek penelitian yaitu taruna semester IV jurusan elektro pelayaran Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya yang ditentukan secara convenience sampling. Data yang diambil adalah kelayakan dari segi materi dan media melalui angket, hasil belajar melalui pre test dan post test, serta tangggapan siswa dan guru melalui angket. Tanggapan ahli menunjukkan e- learning berbasis Moodle cukup layak dari segi media dan layak dari segi materi. Hasil belajar pada uji coba skala besar menunjukkan bahwa Hasil angket tanggapan siswa pada uji coba skala kecil dan skala besar menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan media e-learning berbasis Moodle. Tanggapan dosen berdasarkan hasil angket menunjukkan dosen tertarik dengan pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis Moodle yang telah diterapkan. Produk final e-learning berbasis Moodle , Berbagai konten dan fasilitas yang dimiliki e- learning yang dikembangkan membuat pembelajaran dasar sistem pneumatik menjadi lebih menarik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa elearning berbasis Moodle layak dan efektif diterapkan pada materi dasar sistem pneumatik. Pembelajaran dengan elearning berdampak secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar taruna. Kata kunci: e-learning berbasis Moodle, hasil belajar, media pembelajaran, This study uses research and development design (Research and Development) according to Sugiyono (2010). The research subjects were cadets in the fourth semester of the Electrical Engineering Department of Surabaya Cruise Polytechnic which were determined by convenience sampling. The data taken were feasibility in terms of material and media through questionnaires, learning outcomes through pre-test and post-test, and responses from students and teachers through questionnaires. Expert responses suggesting that Moodle-based e-learning is quite media-appropriate and feasible in terms of material. Learning outcomes in large-scale trials showed that the results of student questionnaire responses on small-scale and large-scale trials showed that the majority of students gave positive responses to learning activities using Moodle-based e-learning media. The response of lecturers based on the results of the questionnaire showed that the lecturers were interested in learning using the Moodle-based e-learning learning media that had been applied. The final product of Moodle-based e-learning, the various content and facilities that are owned by e-learning developed make the basic learning of pneumatic systems more attractive. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion it can be concluded that Moodle-based e-learning is feasible and effective to be applied to the basic material of a pneumatic system.
