Abstract
Mother and child hospital is a social facility that cannot be separated from the community, and its existence is highly expected by the community, because as a human being or the community certainly wants health to be maintained especially the health of mothers and children. Therefore the mother and child hospital has a very close relationship with the existence of a certain group of people or society. Based on BPS data in the city of East Jakarta (2015-2016) there are around 254,572 fertile women in this area, so there is a need for a mother and child hospital that is able to provide comfort for mothers and children in the process of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum, to minimize the number death of mother and child. The mother and child hospital with the theme of green architecture is also expected to be able to reduce and reduce the level of environmental pollution so that it can provide comfort for patients or the public who are around the hospital. Keywords: Mother and Child Hospital, green architecture, Cawang-Jakarta. Rumah sakit ibu dan anak merupakan fasilitas sosial yang tak mungkin dapat dipisahkan dengan masyarakat, dan keberadaannya sangat diharapkan oleh masyarakat, karena sebagai manusia atau masyarakat tentu menginginkan kesehatan tetap terjaga khususnya kesehatan ibu dan anak. Oleh karena itu rumah sakit ibu dan anak mempunyai kaitan yang sangat erat dengan keberadaan kumpulan manusia atau masyarakat tertentu. Berdasarkan data BPS kota Jakarta Timur (2015-2016) ada sekitar 254.572 orang wanita subur di daerah ini, maka diperlukan adanya rumah sakit ibu dan anak yang mampu memberikan kenyamanan bagi ibu dan anak dalam kegiatan proses kehamilan, persalinan dan pasca persalinan, untuk meminimalkan jumlah kematian ibu dan anak. Rumah sakit ibu dan anak dengan tema green architecture ini juga diharapkan mampu mereduksi dan menurunkan tingkat kadar pencemaran lingkungan sehingga dapat memberikan kenyamanan bagi pasien ataupun masyarakat yang berada disekitar rumah sakit tersebut.
