Abstract

Beksi is Indonesian self-defense arts but the lack of people to know the existence of pencak silat beksi, besides in the era of globalization as it is today that triggers the development of technology and information which accelerates the flow of information related to various forms of new self-defense arts than with that how the communication pattern of self-defense of the pencak silat beksi petukangan H. Hasbullah to preserve the pencak silat beksi. Communication pattern is a sequence or form of relation in the communication process, in relation to the theory of constructivism which states that individuals interpret and act according to various conceptual categories that exist in their thinking. Case of study as a research method that uses in-depth analysis, which is carried out completely and thoroughly on an individual, family, group, institution, or another social unit, the case of study method in this research is used to explore the communication pattern of petukangan H. Hasbullah to preserve pencak silat beksi. Based on research and observations made by the researcher, the communication pattern of petukangan H. Hasbullah pencak silat uses a two-way communication pattern while the communication process that is intertwined produces reciprocity when the message is delivered by the aid provided to the recipient. Where in communication between members has no boundaries between superiors and subordinates, so that the pattern of interaction that occurs in it becomes informal. Key Words : Communication Pattern, Community, Beksi. Beksi merupakan seni bela diri indonesia namun minimnya masyarakat mengetahui keberadaan pencak silat beksi, selain itu di era globalisasi seperti sekarang ini yang memicu perkembangan teknologi dan informasi yang mempercepat arus informasi terkait dengan berbagai macam muncul nya seni bela diri baru maka dengan itu bagaimana pola komunikasi perguruan pencak silat beksi petukangan H. Hasbullah dalam upaya melestarikan pencak silat beksi. Pola Komunikasi merupakan rangkaian atau bentuk hubungan didalam proses komunikasi, dalam kaitannya dengan teori konstruktivisme yaitu menyatakan bahwa individu melakukan interpretasi dan bertindak menurut berbagai kategori konseptual yang ada didalam pemikirannya. Studi kasus sebagai metode penelitian yang menggunakan analisis mendalam, yang dilakukan secara lengkap dan teliti terhadap seorang individu, keluarga, kelompok, Lembaga, atau unit sosial lainya, metode studi kasus pada penelitian ini digunakan untuk menggali pola komunikasi kelompok Perguruan pencak silat beksi Petukangan H. Hasbullah dalam upaya melestarikan pencak silat beksi. Berdasarkan penelitian dan observasi yang dilakukan peneliti, Pola komunikasi Perguruan Pencak Silat Beksi Petukangan H. Hasbullah adalah menggunakan pola komunikasi dua arah dimana proses komunikasi yang terjalin menghasilkan timbal balik saat pesan disampaikan oleh pemberi ke penerima. Dimana dalam komunikasi antar anggota tidak memiliki batasan antara atasan dan bawahan, sehingga pola interaksi yang terjadi didalamnya mengalir begitu saja secara informal.
