Abstract
Screenplay writer is someone who writes a story script that will be filmed. Screenwriters are very active in the pre-production stage, especially in determining the ideas, themes and characterization of players. Then, organizing the idea into a basic story and synopsis. After the synopsis is made, the screenwriter makes arrangements by arranging all the events into a sketch called treatment. Treatment is developed into a script or scenario. Therefore, this thesis tries to find script writing techniques in the film production "11.11". "11.11" is a short drama film, a fantasy about a student who is jealous of his brother's life until on his birthday he prays that what he wants can be realized. When his wish came true many unexpected things happened. The technique of writing a three-round pattern scenario, namely the initial round (opening), round II (story development), round III (final). This film conflict uses the Elizabeth Lutters Graph (1) takes the break in the front, then drops / pauses for a while, but then is followed by a conflict that rises, then flattens a little, continues to rise again and a little more flat, like stairs, until it reaches the peak of the conflict that is the climax, then the catharsis or a little clarification, then the end. The writing technique in this manuscript uses a three-round pattern, and Elizabeth Lutters Graph 1. Conflict research This study focuses on how a screenwriter is able to make a screenplay in a short film professionally based on the stages that must be passed in making a scenario. Keywords: Screenwriter, Three-Round Pattern, Elizabeth Lutters Graph l Penulis Skenario adalah seseorang yang menulis naskah cerita yang akan di filmkan. Penulis skenario sangat aktif dalam tahap pra-produksi khususnya dalam menentukan ide, tema dan karakterisasi pemain. Lalu, mengorganisir ide tersebut menjadi sebuah basic story dan sinopsis. Setelah sinopsis dibuat, penulis skenario melakukan penataan dengan menyusun semua kejadian menjadi sebuah sketsa yang dinamakan treatment. Treatment dikembangkan menjadi sebuah naskah atau skenario. Karena itu, skripsi ini mencoba mencari teknik penulisan naskah pada produksi film “11.11”. “11.11” merupakan film pendek bergenre drama, fantasi tentang seorang mahasiswa yang iri terhadap kehidupan abangnya sampai pada hari ulang tahunnya ia berdoa agar apa yang diinginkannya dapat terwujud. Saat keinginannya terwujud ternyata banyak hal-hal yang tak terduga justru terjadi. Teknik penulisan skenario pola tiga babak, yaitu babak awal (opening), babak II (pengembangan cerita), babak III (akhir). Konflik film ini menggunakan Grafik Elizabeth Lutters (1) mengambil gebrakan di depan, lalu turun/reda beberapa saat, namun selanjutnya diikuti oleh konflik yang naik, lalu datar sedikit, terus naik lagi dan datar sedikit lagi, seperti anak tangga, hingga mencapai puncak konflik yaitu klimaks, lalu katarsis atau penjernihan sedikit, kemudian tamat. Teknik Penulisan pada naskah ini menggunakan Pola tiga babak, dan konflik Grafik Elizabeth Lutters 1. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada bagaimana seorang penulis naskah mampu membuat skenario sebuah film pendek secara professional yaitu berdasarkan tahapan- tahapan yang harus dilalui dalam membuat skenario.
