Abstract

Pondok Indah oral and dental hospital, which is in the area Pondok Indah, South Jakarta. It is a special hospital of oral and dental designed with the concept of “recreational and healthy building". Apart from being a building that has functions as a service facility, health, and society healing, Pondok Indah oral and dental hospital designed to provide a room experience for its visitors or patients, the impression of "hideous" from conventional hospitals try to be eliminated by the presence of open space, roof garden, and green areas as trauma healing of patients and as a means of recreation for users of hospital facilities. Besides promoting the function of the building as a health facility, the impression is relaxed, comfortable, relieving fatigue for visitors or patients. As well as utilizing the potential of the natural surroundings used as an interesting initial concept to be explored in accordance with the design requirements. Keywords: hospital, type B specialty hospital, Pondok Indah oral and dental hospital, Pondok Indah hospital. Rumah sakit Gigi dan Mulut Pondok Indah terdapat pada kawasan Pondok Indah–Jakarta Selatan. Merupakan rumah sakit khusus gigi dan mulut yang dirancang dengan konsep “Rekreatif dan bangunan sehat”. Selain bangunan yang berfungsi sebagai sarana pelayanan kesehatan dan penyembuhan masyarakat, rumah sakit gigi dan mulut Pondok Indah dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman ruang bagi penggunanya, sesan “menyeramkan” dari rumah sakit konvensional coba dihilangkan dengan terdapatnya ruang terbuka, roof garden, dan area hijau sebagai trauma healing pasien maupun sebagai sarana rekreasi bagi pengguna fasilitas rumah sakit. Selain mengedepankan fungsi bangunan sebagai fasilitas kesehatan, kesan santai, nyaman, menghilangkan kepenatan bagi pengunjung serta memanfaatkan potensi alam sekitar digunakan sebagai konsep awal yang menarik untuk digali, sesuai dengan kebutuhan perancangan.
