Abstract

Reception analysis about the existence of youtuber ria sw is the public's perspective on ria sw's strategy to maintain his existence as a content creator through food vlogging with the concept of a walk. Video content that is planned, produced and packaged with a light appearance, style and language and follows the current millenialls trend. The method used in this study is reception analysis with a qualitative approach. This research aims to determine the interpretation of the audience in managing information received in YouTube Ria SW content to attract the attention of viewers in order to maintain his existence as a content creator on YouTube, using theories about social media, YouTube, culture studies, existence and encoding- decoding. In this study, the informants interpreted the existence of Youtuber Ria SW, namely being-in-itself by using encoding-decoding and finding three different ideologies from the six informants, namely liberalism, capitalism, and feminism. The results of this study prove that the informants can appreciate the work of others and can understand the meaning contained in the content of Youtuber Ria SW by mixing their ideology from thought, response, attitude and character. Keywords: Reception Analysis, Existence, Communication Analisis Resepsi mengenai Youtuber Ria SW merupakan penelitian yang dibuat untuk mengetahui bagaimana analisis resepsi khalayak tentang eksistensi Youtuber Ria SW yang memiliki konten Youtube mengenai travelling, kuliner, dan mendeskripsikan makanan yang dia makan. Tujuan penelitian ini salah satunya adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana eksistensi Youtuber Ria SW dan mengetahui tentang bagaimana cara menemukan ideologi dari Khalayak tentang Youtuber Ria SW, dengan menggunakan teori eksistensi dari Jean Paul Sartre peneliti menemukan eksistensi yang dimiliki oleh Ria SW yaitu Being in itself (ada pada dirinya). Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian analisis resepsi. Jenis data yang disajikan melalui Focus Grup Discussion dan menggunakan data primer yaitu sumber data informan yang sudah dikategorisasikan menjadi enam yaitu : Followers, Non-follower, Hobi makan, Tidak hobi makan, Penonton dan penikmat kuliner, serta data sekunder melalui sumber data dokumen yang diperoleh dari buku-buku, beberapa jurnal dan beberapa dokumentasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah penelitian kritis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan tiga ideologi yang berbeda dari enam informan yaitu liberalisme, kapitalisme dan feminisme. Kata kunci : Analisis Resepsi, Eksistensi, Komunikasi
