Abstract
Culture is the work of a group of humans in a particular area that becomes the identity of the area. While the Cultural Park is a facility or container of arts and cultural activities that consider the environment as a supporter of the creation of a creative atmosphere both the character of outdoor space and Indoor space for the building. One of them is in the city of Yogyakarta, which is known for various forms of art and culture. Therefore, the efforts of the Sleman Regency Government plan to develop a Cultural Park as a place to accommodate the ideas and creativity of art actors and their communities. In addition, with the Cultural Park can be used as a place to promote and preserve the culture of Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. Keywords: Culture, Art, Cultural Park, Yogyakarta, Sleman Regency Kebudayaan merupakan suatu hasil karya dari sekelompok manusia didaerah tertentu yang menjadi identitas daerah tersebut. Sedangkan Taman Budaya merupakan fasilitas atau wadah kegiatan seni dan budaya yang mempertimbangkan lingkungan sebagai pendukung penciptaan suasana yang kreatif baik karakter ruang luar maupun ruang dalam bagi bangunan tersebut. Salah satunya di Kota Yogyakarta, yang dikenal dengan berbagai macam bentuk seni dan budaya. Oleh karena itu, upaya Pemerintah Kabupaten Sleman berencana dalam mengembangkan Taman Budaya sebagai ajang untuk menampung ide dan kreativitas para pelaku seni serta masyarakatnya. Selain itu dengan adanya Taman Budaya dapat dijadikan sebagai ajang promosi dan pelestarian kebudayaan Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Kata Kunci: Budaya, Seni, Taman Budaya, Yogyakarta, Kabupaten Sleman.
