Abstract

ABSTRAK PT XY merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufacturing. Salah satu divisinya adalah logistic bagian pengiriman barang jadi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan masalah mengenai pemborosan waktu pada saat proses pengiriman barang jadi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan Value Stream Mapping dengan pendekatan diagram pareto dan fishbone. Berdasarkan Value Stream Mapping awal proses pengiriman barang jadi terdapat waste berupa transportasi, gerakan dan menunggu. Sehingga waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pengiriman mencapai 192.30 menit dengan non value added 127.88 menit atau 66.5% dari waktu yang dibutuhkan. Usulan perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan dengan penerapan sistem Intranet untuk administrasi, informasi pengambilan 3 hari sebelumnya, peletakan barang jadi yang jelas. Berdasarkan perbaikan yang dilakukan dan penyusunan Value Stream Mapping perbaikan, maka waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pengiriman menjadi 38.65 menit dengan non value added 10.38 menit atau 26.85% dari waktu yang dibutuhkan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Value Stream Mapping perbaikan dapat mengurangi waste yang ada pada proses pengiriman barang jadi. The method used in this research using Value Stream Mapping with pareto and fishbone diagram approach. Based on the initial Value Stream Mapping process of delivery of finished goods there is waste in the form of transportation, movement and waiting. So the time required in the delivery process reaches 192.30 minutes with non value added 127.88 minutes or 66.5% of the time required. Proposed improvements that can be made with the implementation of Intranet system for administration, delivery information 3 days before, clear placement of finished goods. Based on the improvements made and the preparation of Value Stream Mapping improvement, then the time required in the process of delivery to 38.65 minutes with non value added 10.38 minutes or 26.85% of the time required. The conclusion of this research indicates that the application of Value Stream Mapping improvement can reduce waste in the process of delivery of finished goods.
