Abstract

This study has purpose to find out the relation of self-compassion with resilience to prisoner in prison grade II A in Salemba. This study uses Self-compassion Scale (Neff, 2003) and Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (Connor & Davidson, 2003). There are 397 subjects in this study, used quantitative method with incidental sampling technique. Hypoyhesis test use Spearman correlation analysis technique. This study shows that there is a positive and significant relation between selfcompassion and resilience. This study has positive character which means the higher self-compassion, the higher resilience is on the prisoners. Keyword: Self-compassion, Resilience, Prisoner Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self-compassion dengan resilience pada warga binaan di lembaga pemasyarakatan kelas II A Salemba. Penelitian ini menggunakan Self-compassion Scale (Neff, 2003) dan Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (Connor & Davidson, 2003). Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 397, metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengambilan sampling yaitu Insidental Sampling. Uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara self-compassion dan resilience. Hubungan ini bersifat positif dengan makna semakin tinggi self-compassion, maka semakin tinggi pula Resilience pada warga binaan. Kata Kunci: Self-compassion, Resilience, Warga Binaan
