Abstract

Product development is very rapid industrial world are now many products are simple desk so much demand in the community who wants it. The designer is currently not their perceived a multifunctional product that desk so of this design is that interest designer to design a multifunctional desk that has a function as a product that has three different functions but one product. The purpose of this scheme is to explore the back material - material that is used as a desk so that in this design makes the product the needs, and aim to provide products desk that not only parktis but durable, can explore other materials into useful products and providing products that are not only environmentally friendly. As well as the foundation of the portfolio of design writer and knows what needs to be done Abik of both theoretical and practical in terms of products so that the design into the design work is needed. Keywords: exploration of material - the material used Multifunctional desk Perkembangan produk didunia industry sangatlah pesat yang kini banyak produk meja tulis yang sederhana sehingga banyak peminatnya dimasyarakat yang menginginkannya. Perancang saat ini belum adanya melihat adanya suatu produk yang meja tulis multifungsi sehingga dari perancangan ini merupakan hal yang menarik minat perancang untuk mendesain meja tulis multifungsi yang memiliki fungsi sebagai produk yang memiliki 3 fungsi berbeda tetapi satu produ. Maksud dari perancangan ini adalah untuk mengeksplor kembali material – material yang dijadikan meja tulis sehingga dalam perancangan ini menjadikan produk yang menjadi kebutuhan, dan tujuan untuk memberikan produk meja tulis yang tidak hanya parktis tetapi tahan lama, dapat mengeksplor material lain menjadi produk yang berguna serta memberikan produk yang tidak hanya ramah lingkungan. Serta dari perancangan ini dijadikan portofolio penulis dan mengetahui apa saja yang perlu dilakukan abik dari teoritis maupun praktis dari segi produk sehingga dalam perancangan menjadi karya desain yang dibutuhkan.
