Abstract

PT Astra Daihatsu Motor is one of the automotive manufacturers in Indonesia that produces four-wheeled vehicles under the Toyota and Daihatsu brands. One of the products produced is the Van TMC variant which is exported to Japan. As time goes by, the technology in the production process of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor has undergone many changes and of course more efficiency in terms of the production process to be able to streamline production time and company expenses. As time goes by, the amount of production increases the number of rejects in production. defect appearance in the process of painting 2 with a defect seed of 7.51 DPU and dominant in the front door RH outer area of 1.27 DPU. Six Sigma is used to determine what factors cause defects in Van TMC units by using CTQ diagrams, fishbone diagrams and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), as well as recommending improvements through the control phase by implementing 5W + 1H in Six Sigma. for the engine part, do preventive maintenance as an improvement in the engine to reduce defects in the TMC van Unit and the performance of PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor can be optimal. Keywords: Six Sigma, Pareto Diagram, CTQ Diagram, Fishbone, FMEA, 5W1H PT Astra Daihatsu Motor merupakan salah satu produsen otomotif di Indonesia yang memproduksi kendaraan roda empat dengan merk Toyota dan Daihatsu. Salah satu produk yang dihasilkan yaitu unit varian Van TMC yang diekspor ke Jepang. Seiring berjalan nya waktu dan teknologi dalam proses produksi PT.Astra Daihatsu Motor banyak mengalami perubahan dan tentu nya lebih efisiensi dalam hal proses produksi untuk dapat mengefisiensi waktu produksi dan pengeluaran perusahaan.seiring berjalannya waktu semakin meningkatan jumlah produksi semakin meningkat pula jumlah reject produksi. defect appearance pada proses painting 2 dengan defect seed sebesar 7,51 DPU dan dominan pada area front door RH outer sebesar 1,27 DPU. Six Sigma digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor- faktor apa saja yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya defect pada unit Van TMC dengan menggunakan diagram CTQ, diagram fishbone dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), serta merekomendasikan perbaikan melalui fase control dengan implementasi 5W+1H pada Six Sigma untuk bagian mesin dilakukannya preventive maintenance sebagai improvement pada mesin untuk dapat mengurangi defect pada Unit van TMC dan kinerja PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor dapat optimal. Kata Kunci : Six Sigma, Diagram Pareto, Diagram CTQ, fishbone, FMEA, 5W1H
