Abstract
Companies are required to produce quality products and have competitive prices. But there are many things that the company should face especially the inventory problem. As happened to Sampoerna Kayoe PT. Sumber Graha Sejahtera is a company engaged in the field of wood processing by producing plywood often experienced excess stock, from the problem of inventory making plywood stacked in The warehouse of the finished material and resulted in additional expenses one of which is a burden of expense (waste) in storing and treating it due to not effort supplies well. One effort in anticipating the problem of this inventory is by doing a system of raw material needs that begins with forecasting until the technique lot sizing so as not to happen overstock or out of stock. In this study to plan raw materials used 3 forecasting methods namely Moving Average (MA), Weighted Moving Average (WMA), and Eksponential Smoothing (ES), then the next stage is to know the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with the method Aggregate Planning, after that know the production capacity using RCCP method, and last hold the lot sizing stage using Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method. From the results after comparing the three forecasting methods selected ES Forecasting method = 2 because it results in the smallest error value. As for the planning of raw materials using MRP with 3 methods namely Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ). The results of the comparison of the three MRP methods produce that with the LFL method that requires the most efficient cost of Rp. 430,518,185,-, This is because the LFL system only order the raw materials that are not Inventory buildup. Keywords: Supplies, Forecasting, Lot Sizing, MRP, LFL, EOQ, FOQ. Perusahaan dituntut untuk menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas dan mempunyai harga yang kompetitif. Namun banyak hal yang harus dihadapi perusahaan terutama permasalahan persediaan. Seperti yang terjadi pada Sampoerna Kayoe PT. Sumber Graha Sejahtera yaitu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan kayu dengan memproduksi plywood sering mengalami kelebihan stok, dari permasalahan persediaan tersebut membuat plywood tertumpuk Dalam gudang bahan jadi dan mengakibatkan beban-beban tambahan salah satunya adalah beban biaya (pemborosan) dalam menyimpan dan merawatnya akibat tidak terkoodinir persediaan dengan baik. Salah satu upaya dalam mengantisipasi masalah persediaan ini yaitu dengan melakukan sistem perencenaan kebutuhan bahan baku yang diawali dengan peramalan hingga teknik lot sizing agar tidak terjadi overstock maupun out of stock. Dalam penelitian ini untuk merencanakan bahan baku digunakan 3 metode peramalan yaitu Moving Average (MA), Weighted Moving Average (WMA), dan Eksponential Smoothing (ES), lalu tahap selanjutnya adalah mengetahui Jadwal Indusk Produksi (JIP) dengan metode Aggregate Planning, setelah itu mengetahui kapasitas produksi dengan menggunakan metode RCCP, dan tahan terakhir yaitu tahap lot sizing menggunakan metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Dari hasil setelah membandingkan ketiga metode peramalan terpilih metode peramalan ES α=2 karena menghasilkan nilai kesalahan terkecil. Sedangkan untuk perencanaan bahan baku menggunakan MRP dengan 3 metode yaitu Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), dan Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ). Hasil perbandingan dari ketiga metode MRP tersebut menghasilkan bahwa dengan metode LFL yang memerlukan biaya paling efisien sebesar Rp430.518.185,-, hal ini dikarenakan sistem LFL hanya memesan bahan baku yang kurang saja sehingga tidak menimbulkan penumpukan persediaan.
