Abstract

Until the end of 2019, the National Health Insurance program achieved very rapid growth. Its total membership has reached more than 224 million (83% of Indonesia's population in 2020). JKN serves claims from generic drugs that create sales volume growth of unbranded generic products. This causes margins to decline as price competition intensifies. The purpose of this research is to optimize the utilization and efficiency of the machine, increase productivity and balance the line. Improvements are made by following the ECRS rules (Eliminating, Combining, Rearranging, and Simplify) & the concept of line balancing. From the improvements that have been made, there is an increase in the productivity and performance of granulation line in the NBL-1 Production after improvements were made. The original line productivity 96 batch/month can be increased until 135 batches/month. The performance of the granulation line improved, indicated by the increase in line efficiency from 81.18% to 91.74%, the balance delay decreased from 18.82% to 8.26%, and smoothness index decreased from 8411 seconds to 2563 seconds. Hingga akhir tahun 2019, program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional meraih pertumbuhan yang sangat pesat. Total keanggotaannya telah mencapai lebih dari 224 juta ( 83% dari populasi Indonesia pada tahun 2020). JKN melayani klaim dari obat-obat generik yang membuat pertumbuhan volume penjualan dari produk generik tanpa merek. Hal ini membuat marjin mengalami penurunan seiring makin intensnya persaingan harga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan utilisasi dan efisiensi mesin, meningkatkan produktivitas dan menyeimbangkan line. Perbaikan dilakukan dengan mengikuti kaidah ECRS (Eliminating, Combining, Rearrangging, dan Simplify) & konsep line balancing. Dari perbaikan yang telah dilakukan terdapat peningkatan terdapat peningkatan produktivitas dan performa line granulasi di Produksi NBL-1 sesudah perbaikan. Produktivitas line semula 96 batch/bulan dapat ditingkatkan hingga 135 bets/bulan. Performa line granulasi membaik, ditandai dari peningkatan efisiensi line semula 81,18% menjadi 91,74%, balance delay menurun dari 18,82% menjadi 8,26%, dan smoothness index menurun dari 8411 detik menjadi 2563 detik.
