Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of employee experience, work life balance, job insecurity on turnover intention through employee engagement as a mediating variable. The primary data were collected by questionnaires from 116 respondents, which were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. Analysis of data using SmartPLS that consists of outer and inner model testing. The results of the testing coefficient show employee experience has significant effect on employee engagement, work life balance has significant effect on employee engagement, job insecurity has no effect on employee engagement, employee engagement has significant effect on turnover intention, employee experience has no effect on turnover intention, work life balance has no effect on turnover intention, job insecurity has significant effect on turnover intention. Employee engagement fully mediated the relationship between employee experience and turnover intention meanwhile, employee engagement does not mediate the relationship work life balance and job insecurity on turnover intention. The company is advised to identify the reasons for turnover, maintain the level of engagement, treat employees fairly, improve employer branding, reward, and provide benefits program related to employee needs. Keywords: employee experience, work life balance, job insecurity, turnover intention, employee engagement Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh employee experience, work life balance, job insecurity terhadap turnover intention melalui employee engagement sebagai variabel mediasi. Data primer didapat melalui kuesioner dari 116 responden, yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data menggunakan SmartPLS yang terdiri dari pengujian outer model dan inner model. Hasil pengujian lewat koefisien jalur menunjukkan employee experience berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee engagement, work life balance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee engagement, job insecurity tidak berpengaruh terhadap employee engagement, employee engagement berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention, employee experience tidak berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention, work life balance tidak berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention, job insecurity berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Employee engagement memediasi secara penuh hubungan employee experience dengan turnover intention sedangkan, employee engagement tidak memediasi hubungan work life balance dan job insecurity terhadap turnover intention. Perusahaan disarankan untuk mengidentifikasi alasan keinginan keluar, mempertahankan tingkat keterikatan, memperlakukan karyawan secara adil, meningkatkan citra perusahaan, penghargaan, dan memberikan tunjangan yang berkaitan dengan kebutuhan karyawan.
