Abstract

Produk sediaan obat injeksi merupakan produk dengan nilai jual yang cukup tinggi dibandingkan dengan sediaan obat jenis lainnya. Optimalisasi proses di lini ini diperlukan untuk memaksimalkan output dengan kualitas yang baik. Dengan jumlah cacat yang cukup besar di lini produksi sediaan ini mengakibatkan opportunity lost yang cukup besar karena nilai jualnya tadi yang memang tinggi, hal ini lah yang dialami di lini produksi sediaan injeksi PT.PI. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis berusaha mencari jalan keluar untuk memiimalisasi tingkat kecacatan di lini produksi injeksi yang telah diketahui cacat produk yang terjadi yaitu produk berserat, volume isi yang tidak sesuai, cacat fisik pemerian kemasan primer dan terdapatnya pecahan beling. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut penulis memilih metode DMAIC yang merupakan salah satu implementasi dari Six Sigma yang berfokus pada pengendalian kualitas demi mencapai output maksimal dengan tingkat kecacatan yang seminimal mungkin. Dengan metode inilah penulis akan mencari faktor-faktor penyebab utama terjdinya cacat sekaligus mengaplikasikan beberapa tindakan perbaikan sehingga faktor-faktor tersebut bisa terselesaikan. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan perbaikan nilai DPMO sehingga dapat mengurangi nilai opportunity lost perusahaan sekitar 85%. Process optimization on this line is required to maximize output while maintaining high quality. With a relatively large number of defects in the manufacturing line of this preparation, it resulted in a substantial enough opportunity lost due to the high selling value, as has been observed in PT. PI's injection production line. In this study, the author attempts to identify a way to reduce the number of defects in the injection production line that arise due to known product defects, such as fibrous products, insufficient amounts of contents, physical defects in primary packaging descriptions, and the presence of broken glass. To accomplish this goal, the authors used the DMAIC approach, which is one of the Six Sigma implementations that focus on quality control in order to produce maximum output with the least amounts of defects possible. Using this method, the author will look for the main factors that are causing the defects and will take corrective actions to resolve these factors. From the results of this study, it was found that the improvement in the value of DPMO so that it can reduce the value of the company's opportunity lost by about 85%.
