Abstract
ABSTRACT UD HS Pabuaran is a Home Industry company engaged in making tofu. One of the problems faced by UD HS Pabuaran is that the layout is not in accordance with the criteria, where the laying of work stations has not yet paid attention to the level of interrelationships between work stations. The method used to solve this problem is the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method. The analysis is done by comparing the total distance of material transfer between the initial layout with the proposed layout, which then has an impact on changes in material handling costs. The total distance of material transfer fell to 9.27 meters from 14.35 meters or 35%. The reduction in the distance of material movement causes a decrease of 55% in the cost of handliner material, from Rp. 794.75 to Rp. 361.25, - Keywords : facility layout, SLP, material handling, OMH ABSTRAK UD HS Pabuaran merupakan perusahaan Home Industry yang bergerak dibidang pembuatan tahu. Salah satu masalah yang di hadapi UD HS Pabuaran yaitu tata letak yang belum sesuai dengan kriteria, dimana peletakan stasiun kerja belum memperhatikan tingkat keterkaitan hubungan antar stasiun kerja. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ini dengan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP). Analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan total jarak perpindahan material antara tata letak awal dengan tata letak usulan, yang kemudian berdampak pada perubahan ongkos material handling. Total jarak perpindahan material turun menjadi 9.27 meter dari 14.35 meter atau sebesar 35%. Penurunan jarak perpindahan material menyebabkan penurunan sebesar 55% pada ongkos material handling, yaitu dari Rp. 794.75,- menjadi Rp. 361.25,- Kata Kunci: tata letak fasilitas, SLP, material handling, OMH
