Abstract

Along with the increasing production and use of water at PT Mahakam Beta Farma, the demand for water is high. In addition to water is one of the main basic ingredients in its use, water is also used for domestic needs. In the use of water will be treated first so that it can be used for production needs. At the beginning of the water treatment system there is an initial reject start in the water treatment machine. The reject water is accommodated to be redistributed to the main reservoir. While in the water reservoir, the pH and conductivity levels can be monitored so that it can be known whether the reject water is feasible or not. Based on such circumstances, there is a more effective way to facilitate the monitoring of reject water content. In this study, the author developed a monitoring system for pH and water conductivity based on Arduino Uno using a pH sensor and a conductivity sensor as a water content reader. The readings from the two sensors will be displayed on the LCD. From the results of the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the developed series of pH and conductivity monitoring tools can work according to their functions, namely measuring 2 water quality parameter values at once based on pH and conductivity levels. The voltage value (v) generated on the 4502c pH sensor is the opposite of the pH that is read on the device. The error rate of test equipment with other tools is lower with a percentage below 1% better. Keywords: Pretreatment water system, Water reject, pH, conductivity, Monitoring, Arduino Uno Seiring meningkatnya produksi dan penggunaan air di PT Mahakam Beta Farma mengakibatkan tingginya kebutuhan akan air. Selain air adalah salah satu bahan dasar utama dalam pengunaanya air juga digunakan sebagai kebutuhan domestik. Dalam penggunaan air akan diolah terlebih dahulu agar dapat digunakan untuk kebutuhan produksi. Pada awal sistem pengolahan air terdapat reject start awal dimesin pengolahan air. Air reject tersebut ditampung untuk didistribusikan lagi ke penampungan utama. Selama berada dalam tampungan air dapat dimonitor kadar pH dan konduktivitasnya agar dapat diketahui layak atau tidaknya air reject tersebut, Berdasarkan keadaan seperti itu ada cara yang lebih efektif untuk memudahkan pemonitor kadar air reject. Pada penelitian ini Penulis mengembangkan sebuah sistem monitoring pH dan konduktivitas air berbasis arduini uno mengunakan sensor pH dan sensor konduktivitas sebagai pembaca kandungan kadar air. Hasil pembacaan dari kedua sensor akan ditampilkan pada LCD. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa, rangkaian alat pemonitoring pH dan konduktivitas air yang dikembangkan dapat bekerja sesuai fungsinya yaitu mengukur 2 nilai parameter kualitas air sekaligus berdasarkan kadar pH dan konduktivitasnya. Nilai tengangan (v) yang dihasilkan pada sensor pH 4502c belawanan dengan pH yang terbaca pada alat. Tingkat eror Alat uji dengan Alat lain lebih rendah dengan presentase dibawah 1% lebih baik.
