Abstract

ABSTRACT Illustrated story books are a medium of information delivery that emphasizes the use value of the visual and a wide variety of illustrations in it, the story in the picture books not just a story of fiction but many things can be discussed in it such as history, experiences , norms and values. The battle of badar is one of the many history of the war contained in the religion of islam, in the history of the battle of badar many things that can be adopted in addition to warfare there is also the value of the good which is in stand by muslims through our prophet Muhammad SAW, the final design aims to lift and spread those values to the target audience aged 7 to 15 years that are still developing in way looking at the world. The method that I use in the manufacture of a storybook illustration this is an illustration using digital techniques, because most of the process design book illustration the story of the battle of badr is done on the computer using digital software. Therefore I made illustrated story books that have a physical form filled with illustrations so that the story book history of the War of Badar is suitable for in read or readed to elementary students up to junior high school that should be preserved and developed the pattern of his thoughts. Keywords : Story Books, the battle of Badar, the Prophet Muhammad, Illustrations, Good ABSTRAK Buku cerita bergambar adalah sebuah media penyampaian informasi yang menekankan penggunaan nilai nilai visual dan berbagai macam ilustrasi di dalamnya, cerita yang ada di dalam buku cerita bergambar tidak hanya sebuah cerita fiksi belaka namun banyak hal yang bisa di bahas di dalamnya seperti sejarah, pengalaman , dan nilai-nilai norma. Perang badar adalah salah satu dari banyaknya sejarah perang yang terdapat pada agama islam, di dalam sejarah perang badar banyak hal-hal yang bisa di angkat selain peperangan ada juga nilai nilai kebaikan yang di junjung oleh umat Muslim melalui nabi kita Muhammad SAW, perancangan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat dan menyebarkan nilai-nilai tersebut kepada target audience yang berusia 7 sampai 15 tahun yang masih berkembang dalam memandang dunia. Metode yang saya gunakan dalam pembuatan buku cerita ilustrasi ini adalah ilustrasi menggunakan teknik digital, di karenakan sebagian besar proses pengerjaan desain ilustrasi buku cerita Perang Badar ini dilakukan di komputer menggunakan software digital Oleh karena itu saya membuat buku cerita bergambar yang memiliki bentuk fisik yang penuh dengan ilustrasi agar buku cerita sejarah Perang Badar ini cocok untuk di baca atau di bacakan terahdap siswa Tingkat SD sampai dengan SMP yang harus dijaga dan di kembangkan pola pemikirannya.
