Abstract

PT. Roda Prima Lancar is a company in the field of metal manufacturing industry. Some parts of the motorcycle frames are produced at PT Roda Prima Lancar Tangerang, and there are several sections produced by PT Roda Prima Lancar in Karawang area. Some of the ready matrial will be assembled in the assembly section. In performing the process of non-yielding production in the assembly process into a problem that should be handled immediately to meet the target production part Bracket Cross Comp K81 A. Therefore, to solve the unbalance production proccess problem in assembling this part using line balancing method with the Yamazumi Diagram, where line efficiency, balance delay, and idle time before being balanced are 60%, 40%, and 137,58 seconds, respectively. Then after being balanced by eliminating three work stations, the trajectory efficiency increased to 79%, balance delay decreased to 21%, and idle time to 59,23 seconds. The results shown in this study, that the value of line efficiency increases by 19%, balance delay decreases by 19%, and idle time decrease by 78,35 seconds. Keywords: Line balancing, efficiency, balance delay, idle time PT. Roda Prima Lancar merupakan perusahaan bergerak di bidang industry metal manufaktur. Beberapa part dari frame motor yang diproduksi pada PT Roda Prima Lancar Tangerang, dan terdapat beberapa bagian yang diproduksi PT Roda Prima Lancar di daerah karawang. Matrial - matrial yang sudah siap akan dirakit pada bagian perakitan. Dalam melakukan proses produksi ketidak lancaran pada proses perakitan menjadi permasalahan yang harus segera ditangani untuk memenuhi target produksi part Bracket Cross Comp K81 A. Oleh karena itu, untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ketidak seimbangan proses produksi dalam perakitan part ini menggunakan metode line balancing yaitu Yamazumi Diagram, dimana efisiensi lintasan, balance delay, dan idle time sebelum diseimbangkan masing-masing adalah 60%, 40%, dan 137,58 detik. Lalu setelah diseimbangkan dengan mengeliminasi tiga stasiun kerja maka didapat efisiensi lintasan meningkat menjadi 79%, balance delay menurun menjadi 21%, dan idle time menjadi 59,23 detik. Hasil yang ditunjukan pada penelitian ini, bahwa nilai efisiensi lintasan meningkat sebesar 19%, balance delay menurun sebesar 19 %, dan idle time menurun hingga 78,35 detik.
