Abstract
ABSTRAKSI Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang mempunyai kawasan hutan terbesar di dunia yang memiliki banyak keanekaragaman hayati. Sayangnya kerusakan hutan di Indonesia cukup memprihatinkan, berdasarkan catatan Kementerian Kehutanan Republik Indonesia setidaknya sekitar 1 juta hektar atau 2% dari hutan Indonesia menyusut tiap tahunnya. Salah satu penyebab kerusakan hutan yang paling besar adalah dari penebangan liar. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pencegahan terhadap penebangan hutan secara liar. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan merancang sistem monitoring yang dapat mendeteksi adanya penebangan liar. Sistem ini dibuat pada platform web dengan menggunakan OpenLayers dan memanfaatkan data GLAD (Global Land and Discovery) dari Global Forest Watch yang akan dianalisis dengan data kawasan hutan dan data izin penebangan hutan yang dapat dibuat secara manual. Kata Kunci: Penebangan liar, OpenLayers, data GLAD (Global Land and Discovery) ABSTRACT Indonesia is one of the countries that has the largest forest area in the world with a lot of biodiversity. Unfortunately, forest destruction in Indonesia is quite apprehensive, at least 1 million hectares or 2% of Indonesia's forests shrink every year based on Ministry of Forestry records. One of the biggest causes of forest destruction is from illegal logging. Therefore, it is very necessary to prevent it. One way that can be done is to design a monitoring system that can detect any illegal logging activities. This system is built for web platform with OpenLayers, utilizing GLAD (Global Land and Discovery) data from Global Forest Watch which will be analyzed with forest area data and logging permits data which can be manually made.
