Abstract

Bearings on work roll equipment use a bearing type 4 rows tapered roller bearing which is attached on both ends of the shaft and insid the chock. Since the beginning of production in July 2017, bearing maintenance has never been carried out using the preventive maintenance method periodically at PT. KNSS, because the work roll bearing maintenance work is carried out by externals whose condition is now starting to be less effective, so that for efficiency and ease of work, a Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) is made for maintenance work for SPM PT. KNSS, and thereafter the work will be carried out internally by PT. KNSS using points measurement and visual checking method regularly. In this study, a discussion of the analysis of the causes of bearing component damage was conducted and a discussion of performance maintenance or performance analysis of the maintenance work of the SPM PT SPM bearing work. KNSS. The main cause of defects or defects in the SPM PT. KNSS is the presence of grease contamination on bearings in the form of dirt or metal chips. From the results of the performance analysis of the work roll maintenance work SPM PT. KNSS at PT. The KNSS obtained an MTBF value of 47,660 minutes in 2017, 69,360 minutes in 2018, 22,190.92 in 2019 and 47,460 minutes in 2020. Meanwhile, externally PT.KNSS (PT. KS) obtained an MTBF value of 43,180 minutes in 2017, 67,080 minutes in 2018, 19,910.77 in 2019 and 45,180 minutes in 2020. For MTTR calculations in PT. The KNSS obtained a value of 9,120 minutes in 2017, 9,053.33 minutes in 2018, 9,120 in 2019 and 2020. Meanwhile, externally PT.KNSS (PT. KS) obtained an MTTR value of 10,260 minutes in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. To calculate availability at PT. The KNSS obtained a value of 83.88% in 2017, 83.38% in 2018, 70.87% in 2019 and 83.88% in 2020. Meanwhile, externally PT.KNSS (PT. KS) obtained a value 80.81% in 2017, 86.72% in 2018, 65.99% in 2019 and 81.49% in 2020. When compared between the KNSS and KS, the results are more efficient in the KNSS. This means that the value of MTBF, MTTR and availability of SPM PT. KNSS will be better and more efficient if the work roll bearing maintenance work roll SPM PT. KNSS is carried out internally at PT. Bearing / bantalan pada equipment work roll menggunakan bearing tipe 4 rows tapered roller bearing yang terpasang pada kedua ujung shaft dan di dalam chock. Sejak awal produksi yaitu pada bulan Juli 2017 belum pernah dilakukan perawatan bearing dengan metode preventive maintenance secara berkala di internal PT. KNSS, karena untuk pekerjaan perawatan bearing work roll tersebut dilakukan oleh eksternal yang sekarang kondisinya mulai kurang efektif, sehingga untuk efisiensi dan memudahkan pekerjaan maka dibuatlah Standard Operational Prosedure (SOP) untuk pekerjaan perawatan bearing work roll SPM PT. KNSS, dan untuk selanjutnya pekerjaan tersebut akan dilakukan oleh internal PT. KNSS dengan menggunakan metode points measurement dan visual checking secara berkala. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pembahasan tentang analisa penyebab kerusakan komponen bearing dan pembahsan tentang performance maintenance atau analisis kinerja dari pekerjaan perawatan bearing work roll SPM PT. KNSS. Penyebab utama terjadinya defect atau cacat pada komponen bearing work roll SPM PT. KNSS adalah adanya kontaminasi grease pada bearing yang berupa kotoran maupun serpihan besi. Dari hasil analisis kinerja pekerjaan perawatan bearing work roll SPM PT. KNSS di internal PT. KNSS didapat nilai MTBF sebesar 47.660 menit pada tahun 2017, 69.360 menit pada tahun 2018, 22.190,92 menit pada tahun 2019 dan 47.460 menit pada tahun 2020. Sementara itu di eksternal PT.KNSS (PT. KS) didapat nilai MTBF sebesar 43.180 menit pada tahun 2017, 67.080 menit pada tahun 2018, 19.910,77 pada tahun 2019 dan 45.180 menit pada tahun 2020. Untuk perhitungan MTTR di internal PT. KNSS didapat nilai sebesar 9.120 menit pada tahun 2017, 9.053,33 menit pada tahun 2018, 9.120 pada tahun 2019 dan 2020. Sementara itu di eksternal PT.KNSS (PT. KS) didapat nilai MTTR sebesar 10.260 menit pada tahun 2017, 2018, 2019 dan 2020. Untuk perhitungan availability di internal PT. Artinya nilai MTBF, MTTR dan availability dari SPM PT. KNSS akan lebih baik dan efisien jika pekerjaan bearing work roll perawatan bearing work roll SPM PT. KNSS dilakukan di internal PT. KNSS.
