Abstract
V-belt is one of the important components in the Screw Compressor . V-belt functions to transmit the power from the electric motor to the pulley rotor, so that if there is damage to the v-belt will reduce the performance of the compressor. Nowadays in the industrial world, engine damage needs to be detected early so that it does not cause losses, does not cause negative impacts on other machines, the health of the work environment and buildings in the engine area. The research was conducted on a v-b elt Optibelt XPZ type aims to determine the characteristics of the noise and vibration response when the v-belt normal conditions and damaged. Noisetested from three points A1, B1 and C1 with a distance at each point 50 cm, 100 cm and 150 cm with a rotation of 1000 rpm, 1500 rpm and 2000 rpm. Vibration is tested by attaching the sensor to the wall with points A, B and C with 2000 rpm electric motor rotation, the results of the vibration response are processed using matlab. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in noise when the v-belt is damaged, the 2000 rpm rotation is the rotation with the highest noise results at a distance of 50 cm A1 point 89.6 dB, B1 89.5 dB, and C1 point 89.7 dB . At a distance of 100 cm A1 points 87.8 dB, B1 88.5 dB and C1 88.1 dB. At a distance of 150 cm A1 points 86.8 dB, B1 86.5 dB and point C1 87.7 dB. The results of the vibration response show a higher amplitude when v-beltin a damaged condition at point A the peak amplitude is 0.5143 m / s 2 , at point B 0.6767 m / s 2 and at point C is 0.9113 m / s 2 . Keywords : v-belt , noise and vibration, screw compressor V-belt adalah salah satu komponen penting pada Screw Compressor. V-belt berfungsi mentransmisikan daya dari motor listrik diteruskan ke puli rotor, sehingga jika terjadi kerusakan pada v-belt akan menurunkan perfoma kerja kompresor. Pada zaman sekarang didunia industri kerusakan mesin perlu dideteksi lebih dini agar tidak menimbulkan kerugian, tidak menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap mesin lain, kesehatan lingkungan kerja dan bangunan di area mesin. Penelitian ini yang dilakukan pada v- belt Optibelt tipe XPZ bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik noise dan respon getaran saat v-belt kondisi normal dan rusak. Noise diuji dari tiga titik A1, B1 dan C1 dengan jarak pada masing- masing titik 50 cm, 100 cm dan 150 cm dengan putaran 1000 rpm, 1500 rpm dan 2000 rpm. Getaran diuji dengan menempelkan sensor pada dinding dengan titik A, B dan C dengan putaran motor listrik 2000 rpm, hasil respon getaran diolah menggunakan matlab. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ada peningkatan noise pada saat v-belt dalam keadaan rusak, putaran 2000 rpm adalah putaran dengan hasil noise tertinggi yaitu pada jarak 50 cm titik A1 89,6 dB, B1 89,5 dB, dan titik C1 89,7 dB. Pada jarak 100 cm titik A1 87,8 dB, B1 88,5 dB dan C1 88,1 dB. Pada jarak 150 cm titik A1 86,8 dB, B1 86,5 dB dan titik C1 87,7 dB. Hasil respon getaran menunjukan amplitudo yang lebih tinggi saat v-belt dalam keadaan rusak pada titik A amplitudo puncaknya 0.5143 m/s2 , pada titik B 0.6767 m/s2 dan pada titik C sebesar 0.9113 m/s2 .
