Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the significant relationship between emotional dependency with intimacy in teens “Selamanya Bucin (Whipped)” fanpage followers. The subjects in this study were 967 subjects consisting of 597 women and 370 men. This study used accidental sampling for its sampling technique. For this study I have used intimacy measurement tool from Sternberg's Triangular Love Scale (STLS) and Emotional Dependence Questionnaire (EDQ). The correlation between emotional intimacy dependence is r = 0.170 and p = 0.000, which means there is a significant relationship between emotional dependency and intimacy but the correlation between the two variables is low. Keywords: emotional dependency, intimacy Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan signifikan antara keintiman dengan ketergantungan emosional followers remaja fanpage Selamanya Bucin. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 967 subjek yang terdiri dari 597 perempuan dan 370 laki-laki. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan alat ukur Keintiman dari Sternberg’s Triangular Love Scale (STLS) dan Emotional Dependence Questionnaire (EDQ). Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Spearman dan menghasilkan r = 0.163 dan p = 0.000 yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara ketergantungan emosional dengan keintiman namun antara dua variabel tersebut korelasinya rendah.
