Abstract

This study focuses on the resilience of early adult women who have experienced sexual abuse in adolescence. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with phenomenological studies. The number of research subjects was 3 (three) survivors of sexual abuse. The technique of collecting data uses in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation data. In this study, researchers used triangulation techniques to strengthen the quality of data and research results. The results of this study indicate that sexual abuse that occurred in adolescence tended to take the form of rape and sexual abuse with the perpetrators of the closest people and / or people who were just known. Teenagers who get sexual abuse who do not access counseling services or are not open to their families will have a tendency to experience repeated sexual abuse. The process of resilience of early adult women comes from: (1) sources of support (I HAVE) families and nonfamilies; (2) personal strength (I AM) which is processed from positive support and negative experience by being strengthened by religious teachings, parental love, therapy and counseling so as to give birth to self-acceptance; and (3) social and interpersonal skills (I CAN) derived from self-acceptance and the development of skills that help to relate safely. Resilience of early adults on all three subjects showed two subjects had intimacy relations and one subject felt they were not ready and chose to focus on the study. Keywords: resilience, early adult women, sexual violence, adolescence Penelitian ini fokus pada resiliensi perempuan dewasa awal yang pernah mengalami kekerasan seksual di masa remaja. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan kajian fenomenologi. Jumlah subyek penelitian adalah 3 (tiga) orang penyintas kekerasan seksual. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan data dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi untuk menguatkan kualitas data dan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kekerasan seksual yang terjadi pada masa remaja berkecenderungan berbentuk perkosaan dan pelecehan seksual dengan pelaku orang terdekat dan atau orang yang baru saja dikenal. Bagi remaja yang mendapatkan kekerasan seksual yang tidak mengakses layanan konseling atau tidak terbuka dengan keluarga akan memiliki kecenderungan mengalami kekerasan seksual berulang. Proses resiliensi perempuan dewasa awal berasal dari: (1) sumber dukungan (I HAVE) keluarga dan non keluarga; (2) kekuatan personal (I AM) yang diolah dari dukungan positif maupun pengalaman negatif dengan diperkuat oleh ajaran agama, kasih sayang orang tua, terapi dan konseling sehingga melahirkan penerimaan diri; dan (3) ketrampilan sosial dan interpersonal (I CAN) berasal dari penerimaan diri dan pengembangan ketrampilan yang membantu untuk berelasi dengan aman. Resiliensi dewasa awal pada ketiga subyek menunjukkan dua orang subyek memiliki relasi intimacy dan satu orang subyek merasa belum siap dan memilih fokus ke studi.
