Abstract

Nitrate sensor is widely applied in agriculture, fisheries, food, and health. In this research nitrate sensor was developed with a Screen-Printed electrode using Poly�Tetrahydrofurfuryl Acrylate (pTHFA) and Plasticizers “Dioctyl Sebacate” (DOS) as a membrane on the surface of the electrode prepared by the photo polymer technique. Poly-Tetrahydrofurfuryl Acrylate (pTHFA) membranes and Plasticizers Dioctyl Sebacate (DOS) are polymerized over the pyrrole layer by the cyclic voltammetry method which is prepared using several cyclic. Where in this study the optimum cyclic value is found in 7 cyclic with Nernst numbers (slope) produced which is equal to - 53.544x - 132.06 R² = 0.9657 mv / decade. The difference results based on variations in the composition of Plasticizers Dioctyl Sebacate (DOS) in the manufacture of Poly�Tetrahydrofurfuryl Acrylate (pTHFA) membrane layers showed optimum results in DOS compositions of 10% (11.64 mL) with slope values of -61,534 mv / decade and linear regions of 10-1 - 10-8. Sensor selectivity is good for ions. The selectivity test results show the selectivity for each ion is 0.171 for iodate (IO3), 0.666 for chloride (Cl- ). -1.139 for peroxy disulfate (S2O8-), -0,858 for hydrogen phosphate (HPO4--), – 0,997 for dihydrogen phosphate (H2PO4 -) and -1,146 for sulfate (SO4 2- ). The results of real sample measurements show possible differences due to interference from chloride ions (Cl- ). Sensor nitrat banyak diaplikasikan dalam bidang pertanian, perikanan, makanan, maupun kesehatan. Dalam penelitian ini sensor nitrat dikembangkan dengan elektroda Screen-Printed menggunakan Poly Tetrahydrofurfuryl Acrylate (pTHFA) sebagai membran pada permukaan elektroda yang dipreparasi dengan teknik foto polimer. Membran Poly Tetrahydrofurfuryl Acrylate (pTHFA) dan Plasticizers Dioctyl Sebacate (DOS) yang dipolimerisasikan diatas lapisan pirol dengan metode voltametri siklik yang dipreparasi dengan menggunakan beberapa siklik. Dimana dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai siklik optimum terdapat pada 7 siklik dengan bilangan Nernst (slope) yang dihasilkan yaitu sebesar = -53,544x - 132,06 R² = 0,9657 mv/dekade. Hasil perbedaan berdasarkan variasi komposisi Plasticizers Dioctyl Sebacate (DOS) dalam pembuatan lapisan membran Poly Tetrahydrofurfuryl Acrylate (pTHFA) menunjukkan hasil optimum pada komposisi DOS sebanyak 10% (11,64 mL) dengan nilai slope - 61.534 mv/dekade dan daerah linier 10-1 - 10-8 . Selektivitas sensor baik terhadap beberapa ion. Hasil uji selektivitas menunjukkan selektivitas untuk masing-masing ion adalah 0,171 untuk iodat (IO3 - ), 0,666 untuk klorida (Cl- ), -1,139 untuk peroksi disulfat (S2O8 - ), -0,858 untuk hidrogen fosfat (HPO4 2- ), dan -0,997 untuk dihidrogen fosfat (H2PO4 - ) dan -1,146 untuk sulfat (SO4 2- ). Hasil pengukuran real sample memperlihatkan perbedaan yang dimungkinkan akibat adanya gangguan dari ion klorida (Cl- ).
