Abstract
Pada saat ini kebutuhan jaringan komputer merupakan salah satu kebutuhan penting, jaringan komputer merupakan suatu jaringan yang menghubungkan antar komputer dengan menggunakan topologi tertentu atau dalam satu area tertentu. Wireless 802.11n merupakan standart yang digunakan dalam jaringan wireless/nirkabel yang dikeluarkan oleh IEEE sebagai standart komunikasi untuk bertukar data di udara/nirkabel. Wireless 802.11n bekerja pada frekuensi 2,4 GHz, 5,8 GHz dan kecepatan transfer data mencapai 100-200 Mbps. Bandwidth pada setiap jaringan sangat bervariasi. Sangat penting menentukan berapa banyak bit per detik yang melintasi di jaringan dan jumlah bandwidth yang digunakan oleh setiap host. Quality of Service (QoS) merupakan nilai dari suatu jaringan dalam menyediakan layanan yang baik dapat dilihat dalam segi kecepatan. Pengukuran Quality of Service (QoS) yang meliputi throughput, jitter, delay dan packet loss. Hierarchical Tocken Bucket (HTB) merupakan metode yang dikembangkan oleh Martin Devera digunakan untuk membatasi akses menuju ke port/IP tertentu tanpa mengganggu trafik bandwidth pengguna lain. Hasil pengukuran dan implementasi metode Hierarchical Tocken Bucket (HTB) secara keseluruhan implementasi management bandwidth dapat berjalan dengan baik pada skenario dan topologi jaringan yang digunakan, walaupun masi ada perubahan data namun masi bisa dikatagorikan baik. Kata Kunci : Wireless 802.11n, Manajemen Bandwidth, Quality of Service At this time the need for a computer network is one important requirement. computer network is a network that connecting between computers by using certain topology or in one particular area. Wireless 802.11n is a standard which is used in air / wireless networks issued by IEEE as a communication standard for exchanging data on air / wireless. Wireless 802.11n works at frequency 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz and data transfer speeds reaching 100-200 Mbps. Bandwidth on each network varies greatly. It's important to determine how many bits per second are crossing the network and the amount of bandwidth used by each host. Quality of Service (QoS) is the value of a network in providing good services that can be seen in terms of speed. Quality of Service (QoS) measurement which includes throughput, jitter, delay and packet loss. Hierarchical Tocken Bucket (HTB) is a method developed by Martin Devera used to limit access to certain ports / IP without disrupting the bandwidth of other users bandwidth. The results of measurement and implementation of the Hierarchical Tocken Bucket (HTB) method as a whole implementation of bandwidth management can run well on the scenarios and network topology used, even though there are still data changes but still can be categorized well.
