Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) dapat digunakan sebagai solusi untuk mengetahui posisi suatu objek benda yang tidak dapat dijangkau oleh GPS (Global Positioning System), misalnya untuk mengetahui posisi objek benda di dalam ruangan yang dikenal sebagai Indoor Positioning. Salah satu metode pada indoor positioning yang dapat digunakan adalah fingerprinting. Di dalamnya terdapat dua fase pekerjaan utama, yaitu training dan positioning. Pada fase training merupakan proses pengumpulan data RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) Level dari setiap sensor node referensi yang akan dijadikan nilai referensi untuk fase positioning. Semakin banyak sensor node yang digunakan, akan semakin lama waktu proses yang dibutuhkan pada fase training tersebut. Pada penelitian ini berfokus pada durasi fase training yang implementasinya menggunakan 4 buah sensor node, yaitu berupa Zigbee (protocol IEEE 802.15.4) yang dirangkai sesuai topologi jaringan mesh, yaitu satu buah sebagai Node X (Positioning Target) dan 3 buah sebagai node referensi. Ada dua metode yang digunakan dalam fase training, yaitu Fixed Target Parameter (FTP) dan Moving Target Parameter (MTP). MTP membutuhkan waktu lebih cepat 5 detik dibandingkan dengan FTP dalam hal durasi pengumpulan data RSSI dari setiap node referensi. Kata kunci : Wireless Sensor Network, Zigbee, Indoor Positioning, Fingerprinting, Training Phase, RSSI Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) can be used as a solution to find out the position of an object that cannot be reached by GPS (Global Positioning System), for example to find out the position of objects in a room known as Indoor Positioning. One method in indoor positioning that can be used is fingerprinting. Inside there are two main work phases, namely training and positioning. In the training phase is the process of collecting RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) data levels from each sensor node reference that will be used as a reference value for the positioning phase. The more sensor nodes used, the longer the processing time needed in the training phase. This research focuses on the duration of the training phase, the implementation of which uses 4 sensor nodes, namely Zigbee (IEEE 802.15.4 protocol) arranged according to mesh network topology, one as Node X (Positioning Target) and 3 as reference nodes. There are two methods used in the training phase, namely Fixed Target Parameter (FTP) and Moving Target Parameter (MTP). MTP takes 5 seconds faster than FTP in terms of the duration of RSSI data collection from each reference node.
