Abstract
Sejak menerapkan teknologi Long Term Evolution (LTE) kecepatan internet di Indonesia semakin tinggi, dan semakin banyak aktifitas pengguna, lonjakan lalulintas layanan data semakin meningkat menyebabkan kenaikan demand data mobile yang menibulkan gap kebutuhan kapasitas. Penyedia jasa layanan nirkabel dapat merespon dengan pembaharuan teknologi LTE. Dengan teknologi LTE Advanced pro yang memanfaatkan teknologi spectrum unlicensed dapat memberikan solusi dalam meningkatkan kapasitas dan throughput. Pada peneltian ini, dilakukan perencanaan jaringan LTE Advanced pro menggunakan teknologi carrier aggregation dalam metode planning by capacity dengan spectrum licensed 20 MHz di band 1800 MHz dan spectrum unlicensed 20 MHz, 15 MHz, 10 MHz dan 5 MHz di band 5 GHz. Untuk mencari jumlah eNodeB dan menganalisa peningkatan performansi. Serta menggunakan metoda discounted cash flow untuk menganalisis kelayakan biaya yang akan diinvestasikan dalam implementasi LTE tersebut. Hasil dari empat skenario yang disimulasikan, diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu jumlah eNodeB dari skenario ke IV dengan bandwidth 20 MHz pada frekuensi 1800 MHz dan bandwidth 20 MHz pada frekuensi 5 GHz berjumlah 23 site, dengan nilai net present value positif sebesar $271,936.96, internal rate of return 14.91%, dan untuk payback period terjadi pada tahun ke-3, dengan demikian skenario ke IV layak untuk diimplementasikan. Since implementing the Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, the surge in data service traffic has increased, causing an increase in demand spectrum, which has resulted in gaps in capacity requirements. Wireless service providers can respond to LTE technology updates. With LTE advanced pro technology that utilizes unlicensed spectrum technology can provide solutions to increase capacity and throughput. In this study, LTE advanced pro planning by capacity method to find the number of eNodeB and using the discounted cash flow method to analyze the feasibility of the costs to be invested in the implementation of the LTE. The results of the four simulated scenarios concluded that the number of eNodeB from the IV scenario with 20 MHz bandwidth at 1800 MHz frequency and 20 MHz bandwidth at 5 GHz frequency amounted to 23 sites, with a positive NPV value of $ 271,936.96, IRR of 14.91%, and for Payback Period occurred in the 3rd year.
