Abstract
A fluidized bed dryer (FBD) is a dryer that uses the fluidization principle. The working principle of a fluidizing system drying machine is the blowing of hot air by a blower through a channel to the top of the drying tub. Air is one of the important components in the process of drying agricultural materials.Wet rice with an initial water content of around 200 grams after drying with a Fluidized Bed Dryer at 600 C obtained a moisture content of 18.9% for 3 minutes. As for the temperature of 800 C, within 3 minutes the water content was obtained 23.1%. For the temperature of 900 C, the water content is 25.7% with 3 minutes and for the temperature of 1000 C the water content is 26.7% with 3 minutes. the temperature is constant, so maximum drying.If for a temperature of 600 C with a grain dry weight of 181.1gr it can be fluidized as high as ± 10 cm, as well as a temperature of 800C with a dry weight of 176.9gr it can be fluidized as high as 10 cm, if a temperature of 900 C with a dry weight of 174.5gr can be fluidized as high as 10 cm, as well as the temperature of 1000 C with the weight of dry rice of 173.3gr can be fluidized as high as 10cm. Whatever the temperature used can only be as high as 10 cm of fluidized. Keywords: Paddy Rice, Fluidized Bed, Heater and Exhaust Heat AC Pengering sistem fluidisasi (fluidized bed dryer, FBD) adalah pengering yang menggunakan prinsip fluidisasi. Prinsip kerja mesin pengering sistem fluidisasi adalah penghembusan udara panas oleh kipas peniup ( blower ) melalui suatu saluran ke atas bak pengering. Udara merupakan salah satu komponen yang penting di dalam proses pengeringan bahan pertanian. Gabah basah yang kadar air awal sekitar 200 gr setelah dilakukan pengeringan dengan Fluidized Bed Dryer pada temperatur 600 C diperoleh kadar air sebesar 18,9 % untuk waktu 3 menit. Sedangkan untuk temperatur 800 C, waktu 3 menit diperoleh kadar air 23,1 %. Untuk temperatur 900 C diperoleh kadar air sebesar 25,7 % dengan waktu 3 menit dan untuk temperatur 1000 C diperoleh kadar air sebesar 26,7 % dengan waktu 3 menit. temperatur nya konstan, sehingga pengeringannya maksimal. Jika untuk temperatur 600 C dengan berat kering gabah sebesar 181,1 gr dapat terfluidasi setinggi ± 10 cm, begitu juga dengan temperatur 800 C dengan berat kering 176,9 gr dapat terfluidasi setinggi 10 cm, jika temperatur 900 C dengan berat kering sebesar 174,5 gr dapat terfluidasi setinggi 10 cm, begitu juga dengan temperatur 1000 C dengan berat gabah kering sebesar 173,3 gr dapat terfluidasi setinggi 10 cm. Berapapun temperatur yang digunakan hanya dapat terfluidasi setinggi 10 cm saja. Kata Kunci : Gabah Padi, Fluidized Bed, Heater dan Panas Buang AC
