Abstract
Steel is a material that is widely used in the activeities of the industrial sector. In operating conditions or its use, steel has been known to have certain mechanical properties such as hardness. One of the materials that is often used in the assembling process is bits of air screw drivers that have high hardness. The role of bit air screw drivers in manufacturing processes such as setting handling, loosening and tightening screws with water driver tools. To increase the productivity and quality of product results as expected, repairs during the assembling setting process must be carried out. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the pressure and rotational speed of the air screw driver on the wear of AISI H13 and AISI 1045 steel materials. This research was started by testing the air screw driver with a water driver tool and then carrying the AISI H13 steel wear and hardness data. and AISI 1045 results from the assembling setting process. The results of testing the wear, hardness and cracking of AISI H13 and AISI 1045 steels the higher the wind pressure, the lower the production, the crack test associated with the material used after the assembling setting process and prove that the cracks have resulted in wear of AISI 1045 (S45C) steel. The test results obtained by the influence of wind pressure and rotational speed of the air screw driver bit, the higher the marerial AISI 1045 (S45C) wear. The parameters of wind pressure used are adjusted to the standards commonly used in the production process. Keywords: Steel, assembling settings, screw, air driver, wind pressure, rotational speed, setting handling, wear, hardness, cracking of steel AISI H13 and AISI 1045 Baja merupakan material yang banyak digunakan dalam kegiatan sektor perindustrian. Pada kondisi operasi atau penggunaannya, baja telah diketahui memiliki sifat mekanik tertentu seperti kekerasan.. Salah satu material yang sering digunakan pada proses setting assembling adalah bit air screw driver yang memiliki kekerasan yang tinggi. Peranan bit air screw driver pada proses manufaktur seperti setting handling, mengendurkan dan mengencangkan screw dengan alat air driver. Untuk meningkatkan produktifitas dan kualitas hasil produk sesuai dengan yang diharapkan maka perbaikan selama proses setting assembling haruslah dilaksanakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh tekanan dan kecepatan putar bit air screw driver terhadap keausan material baja AISI H13 dan AISI 1045. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan pengujian bit air screw driver dengan alat air driver kemudian dilakukan pengambilan data keausan, kekerasan dan keretakan baja AISI H13 dan AISI 1045 hasil proses setting assembling. Hasil pengujian keausan, kekerasan dan keretakan baja AISI H13 dan AISI 1045 semakin tinggi tekanan angin maka semakin turun produksi, pengujian keretakan terkait dengan material yang digunakan setelah proses setting assembling dan membuktikan bahwa terjadinya keretakan yang mengakibatkan material baja AISI 1045 (S45C) mengalami keausan. Hasil pengujian diperoleh pengaruh tekanan angin dan kecepatan putar bit air screw driver maka akan semakin tinggi marerial AISI 1045 (S45C) mengalami keausan. Parameter tekanan angin yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan standar yang biasa digunakan pada proses produksi.
