Abstract

In the world of the automotive industry, vehicle use, especially motorcycle vehicles, which are currently the basic needs of all people using and owning motorbike vehicles, so motor maintenance is very important to support the performance of vehicle engines, especially in the maintenance of a lot of tribes. original vehicle parts and non-original vehicle parts so as to find out the quality of replacement as original and less original then the authors conducted an Analysis of the Material Effect on Fuel Consumption on Honda KVY Beat PGM-FI This research was conducted aimed at comparing the piston material and Fuel consumption from testing uses two Original Pistons and No Original Pistons from the analysis of fuel consumption between the original piston and the non�original piston, the original piston consumes as much as 0.883 L / 50 fuel km while the non-original piston consumes 0.953 L / 50km while the heat generated from both piston tests on engine heat engine heat temperature within 20 minutes the engine heat setting reaches 70 mencapaiC while using the piston is not original engine heat temperature within 20 minutes reaches 71,5˚C. Keywords: Honda Beat PGM-FI, composition of piston material, engine heat temperature,fuel consumption. Dalam dunia industri otomotif penggunaan kendaraan khususnya kendaraan sepeda motor yang saat ini menjadi kebutuhan pokok semua kalangan masyarakat menggunakan dan mempunyai kendaraan spedamotor sehingga perawatan motor sangat penting di lakukan untuk menunjang kinerja mesin kendaraan khususnya dalam pengagantian seprpat-seperpat yang di gunakan untuk penggantian seperpat banyak suku cadang kendaraan original dan suku cadang kendaraan tidak original sehingga untuk mengetahui kuwalitas penggantian seperpat original dan seperpat tidak original maka dari itupenulis melakukan Analisis Pengaruh Material Terhadap Konsumsi Bahan Bakar Pada Mesin Honda KVY Beat PGM-FI penelitian ini di lakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan material piston dan konsumsi bahan bakar dari pengujian menggunakan dua Piston Original dan Piston Tidak Original dari hasil analisis konsumsi bahan bakar antara piston original dan piston tidak original, piston original mengonsumsi bahan bakar sebanyak 0.883 L/50 km sedangkan piston tidak original mengonsumsi bahan bakar 0,953 L/50km sedangkan panas yang di hasilkan dari kedua pengujian piston terhadap panas mesin temperature panas mesin dalam waktu 20 menit tmperatur panas mesin mencapai 70˚C sedangkan mengunakan piston tidak original temperatur panas mesin dalam 20 menit mencapai 71,5˚C. Kata kunci: Honda Beat PGM-FI, komposisi material piston, temperatur panas mesin, konsumsi bahan bakar.
