Abstract
The development of communication technology in Indonesia must still be developed, because the needs of the community which are constantly growing very rapidly, one of which is radio communication technology. Radio communication is a form of wireless communication by utilizing electromagnetic wave propagation which has a frequency range of 300 MHz - 300GHz. At this time radio communication technology is being developed to be able to work in the V-Band frequency range of 40 - 75 GHz. Microstrip antenna has several advantages, especially on the design of the antenna which is thin, small, and lightweight. But it also has some drawbacks such as narrow bandwidth produced and limitations in gain. One way to overcome these shortcomings is to design a transmitarray microstrip antenna. Transmittarray antenna is a type of antenna that has a high gain. The transmitray antenna consists of a feed source and a thin transmission surface. Transmitarray antennas are designed using the Rogers 4003C substrate type with a thickness of 0.51 mm, dielectric constant
