Abstract

The biometric system was developed for safety technology. This biometric technology was developed for security because it had two functions, namely identification and verification. Security of biometric systems that were still rarely found, both sedan, hybrid, suv, mpv, hatchback and commercial vehicles. This start-stop engine for four-wheeled vehicles using fingerprint can find out who the car owner was and who can use the car, on the other hand this system had a very high security system compared to the system that is already on the vehicle. Arduino Uno microcontroller was used to store fingerprint data of owners of four-wheeled vehicles. If the fingerprint entered was in accordance with the data stored, the Arduino Uno microcontroller would send a signal to activate the relay. Relays were used to turn on Acc, Contacts, and Starters. With the start-up system of four-wheeled vehicles used fingerprints, users get convenience. In addition, it also provided more levels of security than existing systems. Keywords: Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller, Fingerprint R305, 3 Channel Rela Sistem biometrik di kembangkan untuk teknologi pengaman. Teknologi biometrik ini di kembangkan untuk keamanan karena memiliki dua fungsi yaitu identifikasi dan verifikasi. Pengamanan sistem biometrik yang masih jarang di temukan, baik kendaraan jenis sedan, hybrid, suv, mpv, hatchback dan commercial. Sistem start stop engine kendaraan roda empat dengan menggunakan fingerprint ini dapat mengetahui siapa pemilik mobil dan siapa saja yang dapat menggunakan mobil, di sisi lain sistem ini memiliki sistem keamanan yang sangat tinggi dibandingkan sistem yang sudah ada pada kendaraan. Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno digunakan untuk menyimpan data sidik jari pemilik kendaraan roda empat. Bila sidik jari yang dimasukkan sesuai dengan data yang tersimpan maka mikrokontroler Arduino Uno akan mengirim sinyal untuk mengaktifkan relay. Relay digunakan untuk menghidupkan Acc (Aksesoris), Kontak, dan juga Starter. Dengan adanya sistem start stop engine kendaraan roda empat menggunakan fingerprint, pengguna mendapat kemudahan. Selain itu, juga memberikan tingkat keamanan yang lebih dibandingkan sistem yang sudah ada. Kata Kunci : Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno R3, Fingerprint R305, Relay 3 Channel
