Abstract

Airport is one of the vital objects which is very important for the transportation system. Most of the operational support equipment and aviation safety are equipment that is sensitive to electrical power quality disturbances, so that other supporting equipment is needed to ensure the availability of good power quality and minimize electrical disturbances to avoid interrupting the operation of the equipment. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) functions as a stabilizer against electrical disruptions and as a source of uninterrupted backup power supply (back up) in the event of interruption of power loss from the main power source. Therefore, an analysis of the quality of UPS performance is carried out during the loading of operational equipment and flight safety so that the quality and performance of the UPS is guaranteed. The method used in this research is literature study, field observation and data analysis method. Literature study is looking for relevant references and theories. Field observations by collecting existing data in the field. Furthermore, data analysis is carried out by calculating according to the formula used and analyzing the calculation results. The results of this study show that UPS is backing up operational equipment and flight safety in the airside area with a back up time of more than 1 hour under the current installed loading conditions, so that it meets the standards of reliability and safety of equipment operation. Keywords: Airport, Aviation Safety, Uninterruptible Power Supply Bandara merupakan salah satu objek vital yang sangat penting bagi sistem transportasi. Sebagian besar dari peralatan penunjang operasional dan keselamatan penerbangan merupakan peralatan yang sensitif terhadap gangguan kualitas daya listrik sehingga dibutuhkan peralatan pendukung lainnya yang berfungsi untuk menjamin tetap tersedianya kualitas daya yang baik dan meminimalisir gangguan listrik untuk menghindari terputusnya operasional peralatan tersebut. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) berfungsi sebagai stabilizer terhadap terjadinya gangguan listrik dan sebagai sumber catu daya cadangan (back up) tak terputus apabila terjadi gangguan pemutusan aliran daya dari sumber daya utama (PLN). Oleh karena itu dilakukan analisa terhadap kualitas kinerja UPS pada saat pembebanan peralatan operasional dan keselamatan penerbangan sehingga kualitas dan peforma UPS tetap terjamin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian tugas akhir ini yaitu studi literatur, observasi lapangan dan metode analisa data. Studi literatur yaitu mencari referensi dan teori yang relean. Observasi lapangan dengan melakukan pengumpulan data yang ada pada lapangan. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa data dengan melakukan perhitungan sesuai formula yang digunakan dan menganalisa hasil perhitungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan UPS yang memback up peralatan operasional dan keselamatan penerbangan di area airside dengan waktu back up diatas 1 jam pada kondisi pembebanan terpasang saat ini, sehingga memenuhi standar kehandalan dan keamanan operasi peralatan. Kata Kunci: Bandar Udara, Keselamatan Penerbangan, Uninterruptible Power Supply.
