Abstract

At this time the development of cellular networks has entered the 4G era. For this reason, the 4G LTE network must always be optimal and periodic maintenance needs to be done to minimize the occurrence of errors that cause less optimal data and voice services on the customer side. Based on a survey conducted previously with customers using Telkomsel operators in the city of Bandung in getting some problems that caused poor performance quality of the Telkomsel 4G network, which sometimes despite getting good signal coverage on their mobile, but the throughput received on the customer side is still in under standard which has been determined by the operator. So to optimize the 4G network in the area, the KPI parameter values that must be met for data services in this Final Project include changes in values in the bad spot area, there are RSRP parameter values, SINR values, and throughput. Keywords: 4G LTE Optimization, Key Performance Indicator, LTE Nemo, Test Drive Pada saat ini perkembangan jaringan seluler telah memasuki era 4G, Untuk itu kondisi jaringan 4G LTE harus selalu optimal dan perlu dilakukan perawatan secara berkala untuk meminimalkan terjadinya kesalahan yang menyebabkan kurang optimalnya layanan data maupun voice di sisi pelanggan. Berdasarkan survey yang dilakukan sebelumnya dengan pelanggan yang menggunakan operator Telkomsel di Kota Bandung di dapatkan beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi yang menyebabkan buruknya performansi kualitas jaringan 4G Telkomsel, yang terkadang walaupun mendapat cakupan sinyal yang baik di Handphone mereka , tapi Throughput yang di terima disisi pelanggan masih di bawah standar yang telah di tentukan operator. Sehingga untuk mengoptimasi jaringan 4G di daerah tersebut, nilai parameter KPI yang harus terpenuhi untuk layanan data pada Tugas Akhir ini meliputi perubahan nilai pada bad spot area yaitu nilai parameter RSRP, nilai SINR, dan throughput. Kata Kunci : Optimasi 4G LTE , Key Performance Indicator , LTE Nemo , Drive Test
