Abstract

A vehicle security system in common only uses conventional alarm which gives sound when a vehicle is forcibly hijacked. This method is not effective because it cannot pass the information to the vehicle’s owner directly. The purpose of this final project is to develop a vehicle security device controlled by android based mobile phone and able to determine its location. The phone and the device installed in the vehicle uses SMS to communicate. The media used for communication between mobile phones and devices installed on motorized vehicles is SMS. The microcontroller will send SMS about the condition of the vehicle to the owner's mobile phone via the GSM module. An alarm system in the form of a telephone call that can directly notify motor vehicle owners about changes in the condition of their motorcycle. If you turn off the vehicle then the microcontroller issues a signal to the relay to disconnect the path on the CDI motorcycle so that the motorcycle engine dies. The use of GPS positioning vehicle modules can be monitored with the coordinates sent and integrated with Google Map. The design of an Android-based user interface application is made using App Inventor. The result of system test shows that the android based user interface application is able to show the vehicle condition sent from the device. Average tool response time for vehicle conditions when ON = 12.15 seconds and when OFF = 11.47 seconds, vehicle position is 15.8 seconds, vehicle Alarm information = 1.08 seconds, and Alarm Phone = 20.25 seconds, turn off the vehicle from the owner's phone is 3.3 seconds. From the comparison of vehicle coordinates on the Google Map with the actual location it can be concluded that the vehicle coordinates can give the position of the vehicle correctly. Keywords: Vehicle security system, SMS, GSM, GPS, microcontroller, android, App Inventor Sistem keamanan kendaraan pada umumnya hanya menggunakan alarm konvensional yang hanya mengeluarkan bunyi apabila kendaraan bermotor dibobol paksa. Hal ini dinilai kurang efektif karena tidak bisa memberi informasi langsung ke pemilik kendaraan. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat keamanan kendaraan bermotor yang dikendalikan dari telepon genggam berbasis android dan dapat diketahui posisinya. Media yang digunakan untuk komunikasi antara telepon genggam dan perangkat yang dipasang pada kendaraan bermotor adalah SMS. Mikrokontroler akan mengirim SMS mengenai kondisi kendaraan ke telepon genggam pemilik melalui modul GSM. Sebuah sistem alarm berupa panggilan telepon yang dapat secara langsung memberitahu pemilik kendaraan bermotor tentang perubahan kondisi sepeda motornya. Jika mematikan kendaraan maka mikrokontroler mengeluarkan sinyal ke relay untuk memutus jalur pada CDI sepeda motor sehingga mesin sepeda motor mati. Penggunaan Modul GPS posisi kendaraan dapat dipantau dengan kordinat yang dikirimkan dan terintegrasi dengan Google Map. Perancangan aplikasi user interface berbasis android dibuat menggunakan App Inventor. Hasil pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi user interface berbasis android dapat menampilkan status kendaraan yang dikirim dari alat. Rata-rata waktu respon alat untuk kondisi kendaraan saat ON = 12.15 detik dan saat OFF = 11.47 detik, posisi kendaraan adalah 15.8 detik, informasi Alarm kendaraan = 1.08 detik, dan Alarm Telepon = 20.25 detik, matikan kendaraan dari telepon pemilik adalah 3.3 detik. Dari perbandingan koordinat kendaraan pada Google Map dengan lokasi sebenarnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa koordinat kendaraan dapat memberikan posisi kendaraan dengan benar.
