Abstract

ABSTRAK Pelican crossing merupakan jenis penyeberangan sebidang dengan lampu lalu lintas yang digunakan oleh penyeberang jalan yang bertujuan memberikan keselamatan kepada penyeberang dan memberikan kemudahan bagi kelompok rentan (lansia, anak- anak, dan penyandang disabilitas). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas pelican crossing bagi penyeberang jalan dan mencari pemodelan panjang antrian kendaraan akibat pelican crossing di Tosari. Data penelitian ini adalah hasil kuesioner terhadap penggunaan pelican crossing, frekuensi penyeberangan, jumlah penyeberang, jumlah kendaraan terhenti, volume lalu lintas, dan panjang antrian kendaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dari kuesioner untuk menganalisis efektifitas dan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS untuk menganalisis panjang antrian. Dari hasil kuesioner mendapatkan rata-rata penilaian SP (Sangat Puas) dan P (Puas) yang berarti penggunaan pelican crossing dinilai sudah cukup efektif, dan hasil analisis regresi linier mendapatkan model persamaan Y = 2,368 + 0,841X 1 + 5,698X 2 dengan nilai koefisien determinasi lebih dari 0,5 dan mendekati 1 yang menunjukkan penggunaan pelican crossing dari frekuensi penyeberangan (X 1 ) dan jumlah kendaraan terhenti (X 2 ) memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap panjang antrian kendaraan (Y). ABSTRACT Pelican crossing is a type of crossing with a traffic light which is used by road crossers that aims to provide safety to pedestrians and provide convenience for vulnerable groups (elderly, children, and people with disabilities). The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of pelican crossing for pedestrians and looking for modeling the length of the vehicle queue due to pelican crossing at Tosari. The data of this study are the results of questionnaire, amount of crossers, amount of stopped vehicle, traffic volume, and length of vehicle effectiveness. This study using quantitative method from questionnaire to analyze effectiveness and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS to analyze queue length. From the results of the questionnaire the average score of SP (Very Satisfied) and P (Satisfied) means that the use of pelican crossing is considered to be quite effective, and the results of linear regression analysis get an equation model Y = 2,368 + 0,841X 1 + 5,698X 2 with a coefficient of determination of more than 0,5 and close to 1 which indicates the use of pelican crossing from the frequency of crossing (X 1 ) and the number of vehicles stopped (X 2 ) has a large influence on the length of the vehicle queue (Y).
