Abstract
Suggestion System / Sumbang Saran abbreviated as SS is an improvement that is proposed and carried out by an individual employee, and its implementation is carried out continuously by himself in the same work section or "in another section by other people" but the other person and part accept and apply the SS. The person involved in the SS is the “Direct Supervisor (Foreman/SPV/Section Head)” in the scope of his work. Duties of the Direct Supervisor include Guidance, Direction and improvement of Proposals (Completion of Minutes if needed, implementation in the field, etc.), Conducting evaluations, assessments and following up according to their authority, Responsible for the continuity & implementation of the SS, Continuous coordination with superiors (Manager ), and Have a List/Recap of SS, both in quantity/quantity and quality. The application of the Suggestion System is usually applied in companies that focus on the field of production (manufacturing), including PT. Nipsea Paint and Chemicals The research method used in this study uses SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Waterfall Model method to build a Suggestion System Application Design at PT. Nipsea Paints and Chemicals. SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Method Waterfall Model is a systematic and sequential information system development model method with different objectives for each phase of its development. Entity Relationship diagram (ERD) is a technique used to model the data requirements of an organization, usually by System Analysts in the requirements analysis phase of a system development project. The use of SDLC and ERD methods in the Design of Suggestion System Applications at PT. Nipsea Paint and Chemicals to facilitate data management related to the Suggestion System at PT. Nipsea Paints and Chemicals. Key words: Suggestion System, SDLC Suggestion System / Sumbang Saran yang disingkat SS adalah perbaikan (Improvement) yang diusulkan dan dilakukan oleh seorang karyawan secara individu, serta penerapannya dijalankan secara kontinyu oleh dirinya dalam satu bagian kerja yang sama atau “dibagian lain oleh orang lain” tetapi orang dan bagian lain tersebut menerima dan menerapkan SS tersebut. Orang yang terlibat dalam SS adalah “Atasan Langsung (Foreman/ SPV/ Section Head)” dalam ruang lingkup pekerjaanya. Tugas Atasan Langsung meliputi Melakukan Bimbingan, Arahan dan penyempurnaan Usulan (Penyempurnaan Risalah jika diperlukan, penerapan di lapangan, dsb), Melakukan evaluasi, penilaian dan menindak lanjuti sesuai wewenangnya, Bertanggung jawab terhadap kelangsungan & penerapan SS tersebut, Koordinasi terus menerus denga atasannya (Manager), dan Mempunyai List/Rekap SS, baik kuantitasnya/ jumlah maupun kualitasnya. Penerapan Suggestion System biasanya diterapkan diperusahaan yang berfokus pada bidang produksi (manufacturing) tak terkecuali di PT. Nipsea Paint and Chemicals Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Model Waterfall untuk membangun sebuah Perancangan Aplikasi Suggestion System di PT. Nipsea Paint and Chemicals. Metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Model Waterfall adalah salah satu metode model pengembangan sistem informasi yang sistematis dan sekuensial dengan tujuan yang berbeda untuk setiap fase pengembangannya. Entity Relationship diagram (ERD) merupakan teknik yang digunakan untuk memodelkan kebutuhan data dari suatu organisasi, biasanya oleh System Analys dalam tahap analisis persyaratan proyek pengembangan system. Penggunaan metode SDLC dan ERD pada Perancangan Aplikasi Suggestion System di PT. Nipsea Paint and Chemicals untuk dapat memudahkan penggelolaan data terkait Suggestion System di PT. Nipsea Paint and Chemicals. Kata Kunci: Suggestion System, SDLC.
