Abstract
In line with the government's program to reduce fuel subsidies through the transfer of kerosene to LPG, the need for LPG in the future will continue to increase. In 2017, 143.20 BBTUD Domestic LPG is needed in Indonesia. Receiving Indonesia requires LPG distribution facilities to meet Domestic LPG needs such as the LPG Terminal. The LPG terminal has several facilities that require supervision, such as measuring instruments for temperature, pressure, transaction data and monitoring of vehicles going in and out. There are three processes at the Terminal, the first receiving process from the ship, the second storage process (hoarding) and the third LPG distribution process. Then we need a system that is needed to manage all these processes in the Terminal. The problem that occurs in the operating system in the Terminal is the increase in the volume of terminal operations continues to increase throughout the world, the terminal is looking for ways to increase productivity and efficiency that meet customer needs. The terminal is expected to be able to increase the volume, larger vessels and greater capacity. Terminal operators need to be streamlined in business processes, in order to remain competitive and profitable. Terminal Automation System (TAS) is a well-known system for connecting measuring devices to the interface display. Through this display can display things that occur in the process at the Terminal such as the cessation of the distribution process in one of the bays due to damage to the device, the transaction process to the validation of the driver's data. This study provides an analysis of the operating system in the Terminal using the Terminal Automation System provided by the Terminal that uses the system with those that do not use. Keywords : Terminal Automation System, Human Machine Interface Sejalan dengan program pemerintah untuk mengurangi subsidi BBM melalui pengalihan minyak tanah untuk rumah tangga ke LPG, maka kebutuhan LPG di masa mendatang akan terus meningkat. Tahun 2017 tercatat kebutuhan LPG Domestik 143.20 BBTUD di Indonesia. Sehingga Indonesia memerlukan sarana penyaluran LPG untuk memenuhi kebutuhan LPG Domestik seperti Terminal LPG. Terminal LPG memiliki beberapa sarana fasilitas yang membutuhkan pengawasan seperti alat ukur temperatur, tekanan, data transaksi dan pengawasan kendaraan keluar masuk. Terdapat tiga proses pada Terminal, pertama proses penerimaan dari kapal, kedua proses penyimpanan (penimbunan) dan ketiga proses penyaluran LPG. Maka diperlukan suatu sistem yang bertugas untuk mengontrol seluruh proses tersebut di sebuah Terminal. Masalah yang terjadi pada sistem operasi di Terminal adalah ketika volume operasi terminal terus meningkat di seluruh dunia, terminal mencari cara untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi yang memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Terminal diharapkan mampu menangani peningkatan volume, kapal yang lebih besar dan kapasitas yang lebih besar. Operator terminal perlu dirampingkan dalam proses bisnis, agar tetap kompetitif dan menguntungkan. Terminal Automation System (TAS) adalah sistem yang terkenal untuk menghubungkan alat ukur dengan tampilan antarmuka. Melalui tampilan ini dapat menunjukkan hal-hal yang terjadi pada proses di Terminal seperti berhentinya proses penyaluran di salah satu bay karena rusaknya alat, proses transaksi hingga validasi data pengemudi. Penelitian ini memberikan analisa sistem operasi di Terminal menggunakan Terminal Automation System berdasarkan perbandingan Terminal yang menggunakan sistem dengan yang tidak menggunakan.
